I love the brand Blundstone and growing up in OZ I would see them everywhere. I bit the bullet and finally ordered myself a pair...in the end, I guess they just aren't for me. I had to go a half size up to a 6.5 from my regular shoe size 6 (I'm a 4 Mens US in Converse, 4UK Doc Martins, 36 in Chloe, 36 YSL, 6us in Nike, 6us in Vans, 6us in Redwings...) The reason I love Zappos is because I can order as many shoes as I want and return the ones that don't without having a salesperson breathing down my back. I was hoping that this BL1673 (6.5) would fit, but they are extremely hard to put on and take off. I don't have wide feet, but I guess they just taper in and really tight around the mid/arch area of my foot. My husband had to help me pull the boot off. I was disappointed that the gum heel looked kinda 'cheap', I even checked out the Blundstone instagram before purchasing, for some reason this boot looks great in photos. So you have a comparison to what I'm stating I purchased the Redwing Harriet boot in 6 as well and the Harriets I'm keeping.

I'm glad I read the reviews and got a half size bigger than my normal 7 1/2 (US) size. They're extremely comfortable and so beautiful. The exact brown I was looking for. I definitely recommend them!

Excellent boot! Only complaint is that the top of the boot is very stiff and you have to wear socks high enough to protect your ankle.

Love these boots! I have this style without the heel and was excited to try the heeled version. They are a little less rugged than the flat style but still look like boots that'll kick butt and take names. :) I'm a 9.5 across the board in Frye and most shoe brands but these I take a 10. Keep in mind they do run a half size small. They are a little tight around the opening but as long as you pull the tabs on the front and the back to stretch the boot opening out as you put them on, you shouldn't have a problem. Overall, I love them!

I like these boots! I debated for a year due to the many reviews talking about how hard they were to get on and off and the tightness of the boot. Mine just arrived yesterday and I had no problem getting them on or off. I used the tabs (pull them in opposite directions while inserting/taking out your foot). Worked well. I am typically a 9.5 but went with a 10 for socks. Perfect! These feel sturdy and cute enough for winter in N Iowa.

This shoe is everything I could have imagined! I ordered a 7, which I’m usually between a 6 1/2 and 7 in shoes, with narrow feet, and they fit perfect. The heel isn’t uncomfortable at all which I’m happy about too. I tried on other blundstones, but wanted something a little more feminine yet comfortable and am so happy they have this style. Highly recommend.

Love these! I wear an 8.5 and I ordered the equivalent of a 9. They were really hard to get on/off the first few times, but it only took a few wears to break them in and now they are very comfortable.

Loved these bits they were way too tight and hard to get on! Returned and waiting for a bigger size.

I usually wear a AU 5.5 in Blunnies but found in this style they were quite difficult to get on. They do seem to stretch out and I can comfortably wear them in 5.5 after they’re stretched out. But for a second color I’m going to try to 6. I wear a 38/39 in Danskos and typically an 8 in most shoes with the occasional 8.5 to accommodate my wider foot.

So happy with these boots! They go with everything and are very comfortable to walk in all day. Right now, the top around my ankle is a bit stiff and is a bit uncomfortable after a while but I’m sure it will soften. The boots are easy to get on and off, that’s what those tabs are for! Highly recommend.

Love my pair of classic Blundstones but I had my eyes on the heeled version for a long long time. I finally treated myself and I couldn't be more pleased! They're gorgeous, feminine, and incredibly comfortable. They're a little tough to get off but that's typical for Blundstones during the break in period.

I own a black pair of Blundstone Classic 550’s that I bought a couple of years ago in a size 5 (women’s 8) and they are my favorite fall/winter boots. I wanted a brown pair too and after reading the reviews about inconsistent sizing, I ordered a 5, 5.5, and 6. NONE of them fit me well. My toes hit the ends of the size 5 and 5.5 but my feet were swimming in the size 6, even with wool socks and the extra insert provided. My black pair fit perfectly right out of the box so I was confused and bummed. I ended up buying and keeping these boots in Antique Brown in a 5.5 and they fit me so much better. I’m a consistent 8 in women’s shoes (not narrow or wide either) but the Aus 5’s in these were too tight. The length was fine. The 5.5’s were snug across the top of the foot at first but after wearing them around the house for a couple of days with thick wool socks, they had already loosened up enough that I know they’ll fit great the more I wear them. I’ve heard that the Blundstone sizing has been inconsistent lately and I found that to be true with the unisex styles. The women’s boots just fit me better than the current unisex styles even though the unisex pair I bought 2 years ago fit great.

These boots are very comfortable. I often stand at my job and my feet feel very comfy in these. Also, every time I want to renew their look, I apply oil or wax and they look like new again. A bit pricey but will probably last for ever.

My regular size fit perfectly, US size 9. Tight to get on, really need to use the loops. Beautiful boots. Arch support, not much there. Overall I’m loving them!

This is my second pair of Blundstones. I have a pair of the flatter soled boots and wanted a bit dresser look and a heel. The heeled boot looks awesome and fits pretty well. Overall it feels a bit smaller than the flat heeled & the toe is definitely tighter. Still ..... a fantastic boot. No regrets & I am constantly being complimented on them.

I’m a consistent size 8, and these beauties fit *perfectly* right out of the box. I’ve had no troubles getting them on and off. They’re so comfortable, actually, that I wore them right away for a long day walking all over Seattle and Bainbridge Island. I’m in love. I’ve got Antique Brown, and I’ve already ordered them in black. Worth every penny.

Difficult to get on and off, but great once on. I got a boot jack so that makes it easy now. They loosened a bit so easier to get on.

It was difficult to get on initially. Once on, felt great. I’ve been wearing them for a week now and loosen up. Use tabs to put on and I use a boot jack to taken them off (for ease). Walked in rain and they still look new. Love the look of them!

I reviewed once before really wearing these around much. I still love the boot, but I do have high arches and there is virtually no arch support in them. I am going to try inserts and am hoping this helps! Beautiful and durable boot though. Also, wear high socks when breaking them in because it does push into your ankle, but does not break skin or cause blister.

Took everyone’s advice and went 1/2 size up and they are perfect! This is my 3rd pair of Blunnies and this style is my fav by far!! Super comfortable and so cute with everything!!!!

I liked these because they are more streamlined than other Blundstones and the low heel is a nice touch. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7, so I ordered a 7 after reading the reviews. I have high arches and they felt too tight across the top, but after removing the inserts they were too roomy. As I put them back in the box to return, I noticed a thinner pair of inserts in the box, so I popped those in and the boots felt good. I'm going to walk on the carpet for a few days to make sure they work. As noted in reviews, they are a little difficult to get on and off, even with the pull tabs, but that should get easier as they are broken in. They are a little clunkier than boots I normally wear, but I know Blundstones are virtually indestructible and these are really cute. I hope they work!

I am normally a 7.5 but went with the advice of other reviews on here as well as other sites that say they run half a size small, so I went with an 8. Glad I did! The 7.5 would have been too small. The thicker the sock, the harder it is to get the boots on and off; as to be expected with this style of boot. Thinner the sock, the easier to remove! Great boot, excited when they are broken in!

Absolutely love these boots but they are near impossible to take off by yourself. I’m hoping they will become easier to take off the more I wear them!
