Once in the boot, it felt perfect: room in the toe box, strong arch support, and cushioned foot bed. Like others, I found the ankle tight. Not too difficult to get into but a struggle to get out of. I’m assuming that the elastic will give over time. At first the instep height was concerningly snug (I have high arches) but already the boots are giving. Regarding style, the heel height is perfect—and unusual for a work boot — comfortable with a bit of fashion. The tighter ankle makes an easier transition to trousers. These rugged boots are deceptively functional. I highly recommend them as the one-boot-solution.

These are narrow shoes. I have narrow feet so they work well, but if you have wider feet you may want to half size up. Very stylish and sophisticated with a utilitarian flare. Love them!

These boots are a great blend of style and comfort. The are super comfortable to walk in and stand up against the elements, but are also professional and polished looking. I did not think that the ankle opening was too tight or uncomfortable, although it is fitted. I have a slightly wider foot and tend to normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8. I went with the 8 in this boot because I found it to be a slightly tighter fitting than a typical size 8 shoe. These are beautiful boots and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great all around boot that is comfortable but also office appropriate.

These looks like high quality boots but my usual size 6 was too small, especially around the ankle.

I have had at least 8 pairs of Blundies over the years. I'm a pilot so wear them to fly. They're usually instantly comfortable. I love the styling of these new boots, and wore them once and they were hard to get on, and then excrutiatingly painful! I am going to order a full size up (8 vs 7) and see what happens. I hope they work out.

They run small so size up if you're in between sizes. The leather is stiff and hoping they break in, so we shall see. Zappos sent me the boots without the insole. Most likely they were a return and the person before me, kept it. I contacted Zappos and they could not resend an insole. So they gave me a credit of $20. That was fair. Overall, not sure why these boots are so popular.

Loved the look, fit and style of these boots , but I could not handle the tightness around the ankle. THye did seem to ease up a little after a few tries but not enough. Hate to return them.

These are really cute - less bulky than my original Blundstone's and the extra heel is super cute. They do require some commitment, though. The top is SUPER narrow. I do not have large ankles and I had to work to get my foot in. Once in, the shoes hug my ankles with very little give. I have been wearing them for 4 hours - including a half mile walk to work - and they are comfortable so far. I suspect that as they break in they will get easier to pull on. That is what happened with my older pair after a month or so. Fingers crossed.

Not up to Blundstone standards. The boot is mostly attractive, but the fake stacked heel is a poorly-judged touch. For me, the shaft of the boot bumped hard up against my lower calf as I walked in a way that was extremely uncomfortable. I'd recommend other Blundstone boots, but not these.

The opening to the shoes is very small. You need great effort to get them on. The shoes look nice but not worth the effort

I LOVE BLUNDSTONES but sadly these are going back. They are just too small. I really wanted to keep them as I love the new heel. I have 4 other pairs of this brand. I am a size 10 so there is no size up for me.

Very comfortable - could see easily wearing them all day without needing to break them in. Of all the styles, these looked the most stylish/feminine, at least from the front. Overall, they're just still too much shoe for me and I sent them back.

Fit was great but for such a well made shoe, I was surprised that the foot bed did not have better/softer cushioning.

I absolutely loved the look of these boots - the almond toe and slight heel elevates the look of a classic chelsea boot, and I could imagine wearing these almost anywhere in my casual PNW city. However, I could only get one of these shoes on - the opening is so flippin' narrow that one of my (high arched, but not wide) feet couldn't even get in, even with five minutes of struggle. Unfortunately, the foot that got in to a boot felt perfectly sized, so I don't think the issue would be resolved by sizing up. If these were a half inch bigger circumference at the opening they'd be perfect.

They fit me perfectly. Other reviewers have noted they run small, but they work better for me compared to standard Blundstones, in which my feet just swim. They do take a little breaking in and it is a bit tough getting them on and off, but it's worth it for the great fit and having my heels and ankles feel secure when I'm moving around all day. I stuck with my regular size. I started out with thin socks but after a week they have stretched, as leather boots do, and I have moved on to regular socks. Love them and happy with purchase
