The material in these leggings is not like the usual BY super stretch. They had no give and the small, my usual size for BY, was tight and had no give. Very disappointed - these are heading to the gibs-away bin:worried:

I used to be a huge believer in Beyond Yoga's Spacedye line. I have an interesting body shape and they are the only leggings that have fit me perfectly. I've purchased so many pairs since January just because I fell so in love and then, six months down the line, they've all started to come apart. One pair even came with the seams not completely sewn and I didn't notice until I sat down to pee. I had already taken the tags off and because they were on sale, they wouldn't exchange them for the same pair, even though they were clearly defective. The pair I'm wearing right now are the high waisted capri, so I'll steer this review specifically towards this pair. The seams are coming apart around the waist and strings are hanging, only getting longer with every wear. I trim them to keep from snagging and more just keep coming apart. Since we're all in quarantine, I'm not wearing these at the climbing gym, in my yoga classes, on bike rides, I'm literally wearing these on the couch. At a price like this, I would have expected these to last longer than six months. I can't find a way to post photos to show you all the threads coming apart, but keep in mind that these won't last. Not only the capris, but the 7/8, the long, and the pocket pairs as well. Very disappointed.

Making leggings with 4-way stretch is great, but only if that same stretch applies to the waistband! The seam at the top of the leggings has about an inch total of stretch in them. That's it. So while the rest of the fabric on the leggings stretches perfectly, the immovable top seam of the waistband wont make it past mid-thigh on me. The design decision to make the waistband significantly less stretchy is so confusing, I feel like I got a defective pair? None of the other seams on the leggings limit the stretch of the fabric, so I am confused why the seam on the waistband would. Especially considering it has to be able to make it over the widest part of many women's bodies (including my own): hips. I ordered a size medium which is consistent with clothes I wear from other brands and also other clothing items I've bought from Beyond Yoga. I have never tried on a pair of leggings that was so far from fitting me.
