I bought these sandals to wear on Sea Turtle Patrol. I walk on the beach, in the water, through rocks and surf. I have to climb escarpments now and then. I wanted a rugged sandal that will last an entire (6 months) season of hard work without needing a Gorilla Glue fix every few weeks (Teva). I've only been on patrol twice since I received my order, so it is way too soon to tell if they will withstand the punishment. So far, they are comfortable with the exception of where the straps hit the top of my big toe - but that happens every year at the beginning of patrol season, even with sandals that I broke in the year before. No problem - that's what moleskin and bandaids are for. I like that i can adjust the straps for width and instep. The sandals are light and Husband-Person is thrilled that they look a bit "girly". I am hopeful.

Lightweight, well constructed. As expected Merrell quality. Bought them for the beach at my home on the Gulf Coast of Fla. Happy with mypurchase and ease of using Zappos.

Very disappointed!. Wore these to go for a walk. I could literally feel the rocks and pebbles on the soles of my feet making it difficult to finish my easy 3 mile walk. I do not recommend this product. I will be returning them. It's so unfortunate because it's a good looking shoe.

The footbed is ridged therefore caused blisters on my toes. Otherwise I really liked the style and that they are light.

I got these shoes and was quite happy initially. They were comfortable and looked good. Then I began walking in them. five blisters later, I have moved them to the good will pile. Not worth the money.
