arch makes the most comfortable shoes on the planet and these are no exception - true, there is no arch support but that suits me because i hate the shoes with the big hump under my arch, they kill my feet. I think these fit best if you have a more narrow heel, average in the front and don't need heavy duty support to be comfy. they are like butter.
