These are great looking boots.

These boots are the perfect walking boots. I walk my dog through fields and woods in Ireland and even though the weather is always wet my feet stay dry and warm. I love these boots best purchase ever.

Pretty good boot. The insulation is much thicker than I was thinking it would be. Seems a little stiff, I'm assuming it would break in and become more comfortable over time. I had to return the ones that I ordered because they were too big.

Very nice. A little heavier than another Sperry duck boot I found. But, I like this fine.

Boot looks good. Boot is appropriate for wearing around town in wet weather (light snow, rain, etc.) This is not a heavy duty boot. Seems true to size in length and wide in width. I ordered the green/black version.

These are a bit bulky, but I assume since they are named "Cold Bay" they are meant for much colder weather than what I usually experience. They are very comfortable and warm; the added feature of being water-resistant is also a plus. The liner is soft and keeps my feet warm and toasty without subtracting comfort or stability like other brands. The toe box is also wider which is great for someone with wider feet (like me). I do suggest that if you want to wear thicker socks with these get a half size larger (especially if your feet are a bit wider).

I just received my boots however, I was disappointed to the fact that the information on my order said the boot was water proof and the top part of the boot was leather which is the only reason I bought the boot. Very Disappointed as the boot I received was only water resistant and the upper part of the boot was of man made materials.

I may have received bad batch, right side rubber parts started to separating. Also this definitely needs some drying time after wearing it, my feet gets super wet from sweat. I'll toss it out after this winter.

Fits quite snugly, particularly for a winter boot. Based on my experience, I would recommend moving up a half size. Unusual for a Sperry product.

The shoes look great and fit well. I really like the boots with one huge exception, What would you put felt on the bottom of any shoe, especially a rain boot?! That's just asking for someone to slip and fall. I hope to find a way to remove it soon.

Just before the new year, I bought these boots for a sailing trip to Antarctica in February. The boot is warm and comfortable. I got the wide size and I wore two layers of wool socks quite comfortably. In Antarctica I never intentionall immerse the boots in water over the rubber top, but on one occasion I found the bottom of my feet were wet. The ankles were not. I was only dealing with light (maybe 1-2") water on deck. I never wore them again unless the conditions were not wet. Upon return home I put the shoes in the sink with paper towel and help them underwater at different depths. Both boots started leaking at the front stitch seam. This validated my experience. I wish I had done this test right after buying the boots. I would have returned them. In short these are NOT sailing boots unless you are dealing with rain and a wet deck and you shouldn't step in any water over 1" deep. Very disappointed with the way this was advertised. I'd take a replacement if there is something wrong with my particular boots, but I doubt this is a production problem. I have video of the test, but have not posted it to youtube yet.

Bought this shoes for my husband. First time he broke in the shoes we went river banks exploration, the rubber accidentally got a small rip :( , and i noticed that the footbed on both shoes is wet on some areas but the pads stay dry. Is the shoes meant for just a regular rainy / wet weather only?
