Fit well right out of the box. However given the price I was dissapointed on the leather quality. After the first wear I noticed scuff marks on both shoes and they only got worse by the second wear. The shoes are less than two months old and they look like very old worn boot after at most 3-4 wears. I bought black polish spray and that did not help. The annoying thing is these boots were only worn during good weather on short walks to my workplace.

Good quality shoe.. comfortable. Removable insoles for orthotics but I don't think Ill need to. I've had other josef Seibel"s that feel nice on the feet

I love these boots! They were comfy right out of the box! I can wear them with nice thick socks so my feet are warm and cozy. I have an impossible time finding shoes just ask the wonderful people at Zappos! I wear a size 6 combination last and have neuromas on both feet. I also do a lot of walking.

These are so comfortable and cute! Very nice soft leather.

These boots are ultra cool and comfortable! I have long, bony feet and skinny ankles and have a TERRIBLE time trying to find shoes that don't fall off. These are so amazing that I bought both colors. Wonderful support and so comfy! I walked for miles in them on the first wear. The side zip is nice for easy on and off. The leather is soft so I did notice scuff marks after a few wears - I'll be looking for something to touch them up. I usually wear between a 9- 9.5 and the 40 fits perfectly! Danke dir Josef!

These are a beautiful, well made pair of boots. I am attempting to replace my favorite pair of boots (they are no longer being made) and this pair of Josef Seibel pair while lovely just aren't what I am looking for. If I hadn't been looking for such a specific style/features I most likely would have kept these.

This boot was so comfortable as soon as I put it on. I immediately thought, "wow," when I placed it on my foot. I usually wear between a 9.5 and a 10. With this boot, I ordered "41," which is a 10 to 10.5. I was a little bit worried when I ordered them, that they would be too big. However, I was happily surprised to feel like they fit just right. Especially because I will be wearing socks with these, it's not as if I will be going barefoot like with sandals. Also, the design of the shoe doesn't make a size 41 look crazy big either. The side profile of the shoe is my favorite.

Just like another reviewer said, these are amazingly comfortable right out of the box. They are worth the price. And they look great. Get them now!

This is the most comfortable boot ion. Right out of the box I can wear these all day long. Great quality you can count on with Josef Seibel!

I love these boots, and had gone back and forth with a couple other pairs before committing to these. Well worth it! Was able to wear them daily with no problem out of the box. Great in the rain so far this fall, and I love the fur lining which I didn't know about until I tried them on. Love the removable insole as I wear orthotics. They are a little clunky (at a size 11...) but they feel very stable which is worth it as I walk to work and it rains a lot. Also look amazing with skinny jeans, leggings.

Very nice boots -- almost chose them from the three options that I ordered from Zappos! Very comfortable, nice room in the toe box, perfect heel height for good traction. It is wonderful to be able to compare products before committing. I almost committed to these, but chose the Taos Crave instead.

Well made boot. Beautiful soft leather. Easy to remove insole. Excited as soon as opened box. My personal orthotic fit like a glove and boots feel great. This is my second pair of boots from this brand and happy with their product. My first pair are 3 years old, I wear frequently and look great as I just took them out of box/closet to wear again this season. After ordering six different pairs and trips back and forth to UPS I am ready for a new season. Thank you zappos for such an easy return policy and giving me the chance to find that perfect shoe for the season.

These boots are beautiful. The leather is soft and the heel is a great height, with a nice curve that aids in a good stride. They are light and warm and feel great on the feet. I wanted desperately to keep them, but for me they don't work because there is no ankle stability whatsoever. I overpronate in them to the point where my knees are sore within minutes of walking in the house. They DO have a removable insole so I tried an orthotic but that just made them stiffer in the sole. The leather is so lovely and soft and mostly unreinforced, which is great if that works for you, but I need some reinforcement in the heel, especially if the sole is relatively clunky as in this. There is little to no arch support. With a heavy heart I have to return them. For people with strong healthy ankles, knees, etc, these would be beauties in this style, which is current. I knocked a star off them because the laces are the shiny round kind that don't stay put.

These were warm and snugly fitted - a little too snug, if I had kept them I would have ordered a size up. The big issue with these was the liner - it was super soft and warm but it rubbed off extremely easily and left black fuzz all over my feet. This is disappointing since otherwise these shoes seemed to be very high quality.

These boots are cute, a great color, super comfortable BUT I destroyed them in just a little over ONE MONTH! The sole around the inner ball of my right foot is completely detached after 32 days, and the left is not far behind. I'm great at gaslighting myself, so part of me wants to blame it on user error ("Should I have gotten the wider width?"). However, truly, I've worn other shoes monogamously for more than a month without this wear and tear. I don't recommend these shoes if you plan to wear them on your feet. Shout-out to Zappos for making the return process so painless!
