These boots are comfortable enough, but such a poor quality that I am returning them. For these prices, I want something highly durable, and I wouldn't even expect them to last one season. In addition, the zippers stick, and given that there are two of them on each boot, this doubles the potential trouble. Also note that though the description does not say so, both the footbed and lining are coated with a fuzzy material, so they are not a multi-season boot. I have other, high-quality, shoes by Josef Seibel. I hope this bootie is not part of the company's larger plan to cost-reduce its products while continuing to charge high prices.

I really wanted these to fit exactly like my other 2 pair of Josef Seibel boots, but they didn't. Size-wise they did. They were super cute, soft and comfortable, and would have required no break in period. However, the arch was in a weird place for me, too far forward toward the ball of my foot. It may have broken in and been comfortable, but I didn't want to take the chance as I am going on a trip with lots of walking and it would have been uncomfortable. I ended up with the Merrell Chateau pull on, which are chunkier but fit my arch much better.

These boots are super cute and warm, exactly what I needed for a trip to Northern Europe in the winter. I had no issues with the zippers as someone else mentioned, they worked smoothly. They are lined with a soft, thin, fur-like material and insulated well with a very heavy wool sock on. At home, I wear them with my usual thin pant socks and they are fine in our usual temps (steadily 50s and 60s in Northern Cal). I wear them with slacks and skirts and they are stylish with both. The leather is amazing - super soft and supple - you just kinda want to pet it. The sole is not super thick, very minimalist really, so if you are into minimalist shoes, these do well. They required no break-in at all and withstood many, many miles of daily walking right out of the box with no foot issues. I knocked one star off "comfort" for the footbed which, while comfortable and worked as is, would bump up to perfect with a little more cushioning.

I bought these in hopes of replacing my beloved Faye 05s...these look exactly the same, but they are not the same boot. Similar, but the toe is much stiffer...I found it painful! I wonder if they reinforced it because that was the first area to wear down on my Faye's, but it made the boot uncomfortable, even in a half-size up.

Other reviewers noted that these boots ran a full size smaller and I agree. It might have something to do with this model being made in Asia as opposed to Germany. But for me, these are PERFECT! I have small, narrow feet and Joseph Seibels normally run quite loose on me (I still love them and can wear them with thick socks). But these puppies fit wonderfully well! The leather is super soft and I wore them all day right out of the box. Workmanship is typical Joseph Seibels - very well made. Gals with narrow feet will like these - just order a size larger. BTW, these are keepers and will NOT be returned. Thanks, Joesph Seibels and Zappos!

The leather is like butter. I feel like I am walking on a cloud. I love these!

These booties are the softest leather ever! And zippers on both sides make them so easy to put on and take off. Sadly, the size 9-9.5 runs very small and next size up was not available. I usually wear an 8.5-9 so think they run small.

I have a narrow heel and wide toes. This boot seems to fit well. Of the 6 pairs I ordered, this is the only one I'm keeping. I'll update this review after I wear it for a while.

I need room in the toes to be comfortable but these were tight at the toes. Better order a half size up - maybe will help. Very cute and well made.

I have a wide foot. The older version was okay, the newer version is too narrow. I tried a size up, but still too narrow. I love this shoe, my old ones are totally worn out. Sadly, I can't replace them.

I ordered one size larger and they fit perfectly. I love these boots.

Oh, how I wish these came in 42 or 43! Such a beautiful boot! SOFT! The leather is exquisite! I had to send it back. Too small.

Very comfortable, love the look of the boot, room in foot bed, but like the tall version better.

Beautiful boot. A bit small, and no variable widths available; and no removable inner sole for orthotics.

I own a pair of these that I have had for two years, These do not fit the same way and are very difficult to get on. Verrrrry disappointed and am returning them. I so wanted a second pair to be my "dress" boots.. They are so comfortable to wear but these just didn't fit the same.

I really wanted to love these; sadly returned. The arch didn't have much support at all and they felt kind of of cheap for the price.

Quality of the leather is less than I expected. No shine even when polished.

This boot runs almost a size smaller and is extremely narrow. Style looks great, but I couldn't get my foot in it.

These booties are wonderful! I tried them on out of the box and did not want to take them off. I could easily spend all day in them!!!
