I adore these shoes. They are so fun, and every time I look at my feet, I feel happy. They are remarkably comfortable for 3" heeled shoes. I teach, and so when I wear them, I am standing for 75 minutes at a time without a break. Yesterday, I could feel a little soreness at the balls of my feet after the 75 minutes but it wasn't anything to write home about. I'm hoping the turquoise comes back into stock, 'cause I'm going to snap them up. I am often a 40 or 41 in women's shoes (size 9 US). I take a 40 in L'Artiste and other Springstep shoes.

OK, this is the 2nd review I've written for these shoes after wearing them-- THANK YOU L'Artiste for including all that wonderful padding at the spots where it's needed! Particularly that pad in the very back of the shoe where many seem to rub. Very foxy looking shoe. Love it.

I have many different shoes, but L'Artiste by Spring Step is among one of my very favorite. When I did see Maryellen I had to have it, and so happy that I did it is even more beautiful on my feet then on the picture, there are so many details on this beautiful shoes I chosen the black and red the leather it is such fine leather as all Italian leather is. Becouse of the beautiful leather and all the detailed work I feel it out to cost much more! there are so many details that L'Artiste is such proper name for this shoes, only an artist could have designed it, in dividing the black color from the red there is a contrasting leather design the same that continue to the very back' also the comfortable latch that it makes so easy with the closing felcro, and there is more intricate beautiful design, and the heels also have a design. This shoes have so much fine and awesome work d'art, not mention how comfortable they are, every time I wear them I feel like dancing is just that special shoes that I would raccomendi to anyone that appraciet beautiful e comfortable shoes! Especially it makes for me extra special to by my shoes at Zappo I do by all my shoes at Zappo because I like to order by phone, any one that takes my order are kind and pecient plus the shipping is free and also the return is free, they cannot do enough to make sure that I receive the right shoes and the best service, I cannot say enough good things about this Company!

I don't regularly wear high heels, but the spool heel on these gives me enough support to wear them for special occasions. I can even dance in them. I get compliments on the style every time I wear them, and I like them so much, I ordered a second pair in a different color.

My new favorite shoes! This is my fourth pair of L'artiste shoes, and they never disappoint! Style, color, comfort, these shoes have it all! I think the classic style with interesting color combinations make for a winning formula. They're comfortable, with soft leather and a padded sole. The heel is very sturdy. I got these in the greenish teal and orange color- this combination is more muted IRL than the pictures- still gorgeous!

A beautiful shoe, artistic yet subtle colors, interesting design good fit in length but the toe box was too narrow for me. i usually take wide shoes and this was M but I'd had another Lartiste shoe which was M and had fit. Some Lartiste shoes are a bit outlandish in colors for my taste but this was unique without being extreme. Buy it if you don't usually need wide shoes, and then I'd give it a 5 star.

I ordered the turquoise set. I don’t wear heels very often but I can wear these all day with little issue. When Spring Step gets it right, they really get style, comfort & fit down. Whenever I wear these shoes, I get compliments - often from strangers! Unfortunately part of the heel (cap?) broke after a few weeks, so they’ve been in retirement until I can get that fixed.

I’m on love with these shoes! I have them in two color ways and really hope they will add more of the same silhouette. They feel timeless and so wearable.

Oh my goodness! This snappy looking Louis heel was exactly what I wanted to go with the pleated shirt I plan to wear to a brunch soon! After seeing Downton Abbey, I was certain this was the kind of shoe I wanted, and I was sure right. There aren't many with a Louis heel (the kind that widens at the bottom--look at a picture of Louis XIV) but they go perfectly with this year's new fashions.

Love the look, the topstitching thread is more variegated than the picture shows, but that adds more fun. (I bought the grey). Good comfortable shoes, I did wear them two days in a row, and by the end of the second day my feet were tired, but I think that is pretty comfortable.

Love the style and color! Hits my low ankle bones, but a heel lift fixed that.

I have these shoes in black and red and reviewed that color very very positively. I ordered the brown and green ones. Other reviewers are correct. The color is very different from the photo. (Thus the 3 stars for style) The shoes are a very light brown / tan with true green, not turquoise, contrast. I was hoping for a more toned down brown. Not sure I’ll keep. LOVE THE BLACK AND RED!

The shoes fit perfectly; however, they were VERY different from the color shown online. So disappointing.

These shoes are awesome. I love those shoes.

I love the style of the shoe and the comfort, but the color was different than it looked in the photo. The trim of the shoe was a very ugly light beige color instead of the red color. I do like the style of the shoe so much I purchased some leather paint and am painting the trim the color that I prefer.

These shoes are beautiful and unique looking. Unfortunately the fit was very awkward and I returned.
