I should have ordered a smaller size but they would not have worked anyway. My right ankle is too thick for the strap to hold snugly. They are SO gorgeous and I wanted them to work but have to return.

Great shoe. Well made, comfortable, stylish. For my foot, however, there was a big gap in the front, as my foot is “shallow” top to bottom and this style had a lot of room. The gap was large enough that I didn’t think it looked right so I am returning. But it’s a great shoe, love L’artiste, and I would give it a try if you’re considering it.

I have several other pairs of L'Artiste shoes and boots. I am sad to send these back because they are beautiful. However, they did not fit properly and were uncomfortable on the side of my foot. I do tend to have a wider foot, but I've not had this problem previously. These are a different style though and that seems to be the problem for me. :(
