It's been a while since I've had a pair of Rockports. I remember them being great looking shoes, and this one definitely does not disappoint in the looks department! Great shiny leather exterior with a gorgeous fine grain, and a fun, cozy paisley-lined interior. The sole is not removable, for those looking to put in custom orthotics, but there is definitely some fantastic arch support These are only slightly challenging to put on, as the side elastic is rather strong, thus, instead of using the pull-tab on the back, it's much simpler to put the shoe on from the side with the zipper. My shoe size tends to be 9-9.5, and my feet are wide, so with the 9.5 C (American sizing) being out of stock, I ordered the next size up & got a 10. I figured I'd be wearing thick socks with these, as I got them for their waterproof capability and weather be cold when it rains here! I'm glad I did have to order larger because these shoes are ever so slightly snug even with ordering a half size up! Lovely shoe, maybe order a size or half size up if you have wide feet.

I love Rockports and they fit me really well so I was excited to find a short waterproof boot. I just moved to the PNW and having something cute and waterproof was a must. These fit the bill!

I wore these boots for the first time today, all day long. They're super-comfy!! I got them for walking comfort for a European trip coming up. Not only can I wear them all day long, but I love the style too!!

I was looking for a stylish waterproof winter shoe that could stand up to Maine snow, ice, salt, cold but still be ok to wear all day at work. These delivered it all! Added a cushion insole for a little more support and now I want another pair as back up when I wear these out!

Very pleased with this purchase. I was seeking a simple black bootie that would work with slacks for work and be warm and dry for winter. I didn’t want extra non-functional flare that usually just ends up snagging fabric and also go out of style the next year. These fit the bill and fit my picky feet. I’m usually best in an 8.5 wide but ordered 8.5 and 9. I went with the 9 in these so there was room for my padded insoles and medium weight wool socks. The 8.5 actually felt a little large without insoles, but not enough so for me to add the padded insoles. I have wide bony feet, long toes, bunions, high arches and narrow ankles and heels. I wore them at home for a 1/2 day to test them out, then the next day at work for 11 hours. I had warm and comfy feet all day. They feel solid and the heels have some give to them. The leather is nice quality and will polish up well when needed. They looked professional with my black slacks. Haven’t tested the water-proofness fully yet.

These boots were easy to slip on and felt comfortable right from the start. The fit was perfect. There was plenty of room for my toes to wiggle and for thick socks to fit in the winter. They are light, but durable-looking The leather is high-quality. The ankle-grazing height is good for jeans and for dresses. I'm looking forward to traipsing through the winter snow and ice in New York City.

Wore these walking around New Orleans on a rainy weekend and they were great. Feet stayed warm and dry. These boots get hot on a warm day as they are lined and don't breath well, but on rainy wet days they work perfectly. I think the styling is pretty good for utilitarian boots, and they are pretty comfy all things considered.

I've ordered two of these so far and both have had manufacturing issues. The first had zipper issues, the second had a mangled insole. Trying for a third...hoping for a better result because I like the bootie otherwise.

I usually wear an 8, these boots feel great on. For me there is a nice amount of room, I'm able to add an extra foot pad . I like the style of the boot, simple but looks nice.

Best rain boot ever!!! It looks terrific with anything and keeps my feet nice and dry. I spent three days walking all day in the city in these boots--miles of hard city streets--and I didn't feel a thing. It was like wearing your most comfortable tennis shoes all day. Note: I am a 5.5 medium in most of my shoes, but I bought a size 6 in these to accommodate socks thicker than nylons. Even though I didn't wear really thick socks, this size fit perfectly, so these boots run a tiny bit small. I wouldn't necessarily order a half-size larger than your usual size, but consider it. The toe box was nice and large and the arch support was even better than I thought it would be when I first tried them on. I feel lucky I found these!!!

i had ordered these in my usual 7.5 wide but they were too big, so I reordered in a 7 wide which is just right. I'm very happy with the style of these booties: great for business pants, but also work well with denim jeggings and short skirts. The zipper and the back tab make it easy to get these on and off. I really appreciate the fact that they are waterproof here in Illinois! They are also fairly quiet(some boots make loud clumping noise). I've been looking and trying on boots all fall and these were worth being picky!

This boot fit my foot well. Very comfortable footbed and the size and width were perfect with a boot sock. Unfortunately, the top of the boot dug into the front of my ankle while walking. I really wanted to keep them, but could not see the leather would soften enough on the top edge for comfort. I returned them.

I loved the look of these boots but did end up returning them due to them feeling a little too large. I typically wear a standard width 8.5 and the boot was just loose enough for my heel to consistently lift up inside the boot when taking a step.

I normally wear 7.5W, ordered 7W based on the review. They fit well. I really want to keep them. However, there is a hard ridge right under my big toe on the sole of the left shoe, which hurts when walking. I have to return them. They look like a pair of good quality shoes. I am disappointed to have received a defective pair, and there is no more 7W to exchange

I purchased these because I loved the fit and style of Rockport. I purchased a 6.5 W and it fits well. The leather upper is stiff. I assume because it is waterproof. I hope it breaks in some. The arch support is moderate. I have to push to get my foot in, but then all is well.

Nice shoes, although a bit too stiff at the top of the ankle. I'm hoping they'll soften over time.

Just received these. Look great with slacks and jeans. Leather is so comfortable. But I’m sending them back. They are just loose in the wrong places. I bought them in a wide, smaller than the recommended size and they feel too big. Back to the search again, will find a lace up boot instead

Perfect just what I was looking for. Looked even better on the foot than online. Great with jeans , heel height walkable yet not too flat. Very comfortable

These seemed like they would be perfect but they just didn't feel that comfortable. I returned them and pursued other more promising options (La Canadienne, Born).

Liked the overall style of this boot. I wear an 8.5 in regular shoes so normally order boots in a 9 to allow room for different socks. These were too roomie with a light sock, better with a heavier sock, but both ways rubbed my little toe too much, so I am returning. Also, I was buying them for a lot of walking in Europe and the soles of these were a little too hard already.

Quality was not what i expected in terms of weight (this is lightweight boot) and leather quite stiff. Returning. Prefer Born.

Unfortunately I could not even get these on! Loved the boots but they need a zipper. So disappointed.
