Another first quality build from Osprey. A very functional 65 litre pack that is small enough to carry-on your flight. It breaks (i.e. un-clips) into two packs; leave one in the hotel & take the day pack with you. Brilliant.

Took mine on a 36 day trip to Australia, New Zealand and Cook Islands and if doing laundry this was more than enough. Lots of storage and most important, no need to check-in. Easy to organize with cubes. Love the top front loading feature.

Took this on a two week trip to New Zealand and Australia. Carried more cloths than I needed, better than the other way around. The pockets in the day pack are very well thought out, particularly the pocket on the back for tickets and passport. Quick to take apart or put back together in the isle of an airplane.

Bought this travel pack for a 2 week trip to Italy (from the US). I was able to pack my electronics, camera and paper work in the backpack. In the detachable duffel bag were 2 pairs of shoes, 3 pairs of pants, 5 shirts, 5 pairs of socks/underwear, 2 hiking sticks, 1 rain coat and 1 light weight jacket.
The total weight was under 30 lbs and it was a breeze to carry. Note: I am overweight and 50+ but the ergo dynamics were wonderful. Having the ability to adjust the length of the bag, shoulder straps and belt all made this very flexible. Detaching the duffel bag and backpack was a breeze. I got very good at it when traveling via train or plane.
I have only 3 points I was not happy with. The 1st was the ability to have a water bottle in the backpack while the cargo bag was attached. The good thing was when together the clasps pull the cargo bag portion close to the backpack which means it is close to your back. However it also means that a water bottle does not fit in very easily when the 2 parts are together. The 2nd drawback was the ability to get into the backpack while the cargo bag was attached. You also always have to undo the load lifter on the shoulder straps to get inside the backpack. The last complaint is the chest strap (the one between the 2 shoulder straps) got detached and lost. Some where during my trip it got detached on its own and was lost. The good news is Osprey is replacing for free.

I hope Ospery will start to design all their travel bags with features this bag offers. Love all the small pockets for better organization.
I see myself using this bag for business travel as I could carry electrics and documents in the day bag and other stuff in the cargo bag.
The only flaw in my opinion (and my way of using a bag) is ergonomics. The cargo bag is usually heavier so should be closer to your back. Think of a lever, the farther away the weight of the cargo, the heavier you may feel on your back. I suggest to back carry the day bag and front carry the cargo or the other way around. This way your back is happier, and you wont be knocked over when get bumped into. Most importly, this will also save space on metro or buses. Don't be that guy.

As a family we travel overseas quite a bit. We had the old zone version with wheels and the backpack that can attach and come apart. Unfortunately our luggage was stolen in Italy and we purchased this. This is good, but I think the older we get, the wheels would be better. But nonetheless Osprey is all that we travel with, and all that we have traveled with for the past 12 years.
