Very comfortable for my wide (EEE) foot. The laces easily allow me to adjust the fit so my foot is rock solid in place (better than many shoes/boots). My onl.y concern is that I hear a flap like what you hear when walking in Flip-Flops. I have not been able to figure out what is making the sound since my foot is definitely not moving in either shoe. Other than that minor quirk, highly recommended

The laces are so slippery, they don't hold a knot. They feel oily like they are coated in silicone. Otherwise a very comfortable shoe. Haven't gotten them wet yet.

Good shoe so far. I am always insole conscious and these rate a 7 out of 10 because I can still feel a slight sense of lumpiness in my feet. Fit is ok w a slightly longer shoe than I expected for a 10.5 being ok with me. Construction is impressive. Materials are robust and don't feel the least bit cheap.

Purchased this pair a week or so ago to replace some shoes with a good grip in winter weather. These do the job and give me the stability I need. The fit is good as these are a medium width and I have a narrow foo t, but the way the shoe ties, it fits snuggly over my instep, so no slippage. Look great.

Writing this on behalf of my husband, who needed a comfortable quality work boot as he's in maintenance and is on his feet all day. He says they're light, very comfortable well made and also waterproof. Best of all he didn't need anytime to break them in. Loves them and looking to buy more work shoes from you.

I ordered a pair of these online on the 13th, and was notified on the 15th that this shoe was no longer available. Please take this review with a large grain of salt. I rated the style excellent, because I like the style of the shoe. I rated the comfort and support of the shoe as average, since I wanted to go middle-of-the-road for a product that I have not had the opportunity to wear. Remember, now, I did want to buy the shoe. Just never got it. So, my opinion should count for something, right? I like Rockport shoes in general. The only reason I'm rating this particular shoe at all is because Rockport ought to get its stuff together and not send me an opportunity to rate a shoe it failed to deliver. Please give me a ton of helpful ratings. Thank you.

I've purchased Rockports for over 20 years and they never let me down. This latest pair is no exception but, I wish I would've ordered a size 11 instead of 11.5, they may been a little. more snug. Nevertheless, they're very comfortable.

2nd pair. Rockport came through by replacing my original XCS pair. Apparently they determined the originals were somehow defective and ordered me a new pair. These were different, they provided the support and comfort I was expecting from Rockport's. This shoe is designed for the hiker, the trailblazer, and it's why I bought them because I walk my dog, a husky, up to 4 miles a day in all types of weather. These shoes have excellent traction which I need with all the hills around here. Last note; the customer service was very professional and I appreciate their swift decision and action.

bought these about a week ago and so far I like them. The sole is a little stiff but is improving in flexibility the more I wear them.I will wear them for casual shoes and seldom hike in them although they could do double duty for me.

They were a nice shoe but due to the materials they use it makes a funny sound when walking with them. Kind of like you are wearing rubber boots or something.

I purchased them over a month ago and they fit great. They are comfortable and light weight enough to wear all day. They are not as stream lined as I thought, looking a little bulky. I got them at a great price, under $60, which is an unbelievable price.

Came as ordered. Wears good, looks good, feels good.

Just got them and have warn in the house. Fit is good and quality seems decent.

They fit well and arrived promptly. Overall satisfied but pricy. May be worth waiting for sales unless you need them right away. I paid full price but rather buy them on sale.

Had them for a week. Bought them to be a comfortable walking shoe. So far they seem rather stiff and not comfortable without socks. Think they will be ok when broken in. They do feel like good support and gel insole is comfortable

For me it worked after I skipped upper wholes for laces

I've had a chance to wear them a few times in wet weather but haven't given them a walk through puddles test. They are attractive for casual wear as well as active use and the soles have a killer grip (even on my bike pedals). They are still a bit still and causing a little discomfort for my ankles, but I think that's because they are sturdy and well made.

Shoes were great looking and the fit was perfect. My complaint is that I only wore them once in wet grass and at the end of my walk I had wet socks and feet.They were not waterproof.

These shoes are comfortable and waterproof as advertised, but the material across the toes make a popping noise with every flex. It's rather annoying and disappointing because I like them otherwise. Wish the material didn't make that sound.

Wore them out of box on flight form US to Costa Rica, where we did fair amount of walking, light hiking on trails. They are fairly comfortable but stiff and i would have preferred more cushion. Hopefully they will get better with additional wear.

Nice looking & comfortable, but did not hold up well. I always wear out soles before the shoe wears out. These have a heavy duty sole that still have plenty of traction. But the upper part of the shoe has separated from sole in both shoes. I repaired them with shoe glue, but other parts continue to fall apart. I have lots of Rockport shoes and rotate what I wear, so for occasional use they have not lasted near as long as my other shoes.
