I have been running in the Addiction shoe for about 3-4 years. I loved the stability and durability, but thought I'd give these a try to save some $. My initial impression was they were not made as well. The fabric is thinner and more flexible. The toe box is wider and I found it hard to get a snug fit for my narrow foot, even though I ordered a 2A width. On my first run, I found them more wobbly than my Addictions. Also, after a few runs I developed a weird pain in my left hip. I tried alternating my old Addictions and these Adrenalines, which I've never ever had to do to break in a new pair of running shoes. However, now that I am running solely in these, I found that I like them a lot. They are lighter than my Addictions and I like the greater flexibility, not noticing any more "wobble" as I did at first. I feel it is easier to get mid to forefoot push in these and that I can use my posterior chain with greater efficiency. I do have some concern about the durability. I used to get a year out of my Addictions running about 12 miles a week. Will the different fabric construction and flexible sole of the Adrenaline withstand the impact for a whole year?

I like it a lot. I haven't had the calf tension I was having with other shoes. I have high arch and added the support and stability this shoe provides without compromising the natural foot stride.

I love these shoes! I only wish they were a tad bit narrower. Other than that they feel as thought they were broken in before I ever wore them a full day! Very comfortable and so happy to have found a completely black shoe that I can wear to work.

This shoe is very comfortable and has excellent support. Not a runner, I walk everyday. Brooks is my favorite exercise shoe.

I like these shoes and use them for HIIT and cardio workouts. The main issues I have with these shoes is around the ankle and the toe box. While supportive, I've found that the toe box collapses when doing kneeling exercises or when driving the foot during mountain climbers. The shoe around the tongue rubs on the top of my ankle so badly that I have cuts along the top of the ankles after intense workouts. I usually wear no-show socks but now have to wear higher socks due to the irritation. I do feel that the shoes are very supportive which is why I'm keeping them, but that aspect is super disappointing. I'll have to stick to using them for walking or less intense workouts.

I tried to replace the comfort of the GTS 18 but wasn't successful. In my case they weren't wide as the 18 so I tried wearing but found out they hurt the side of my foot. I bought a Wht GTS 19 in a half size larger in wide but found they were too long. I think I should have just bought another GTS 18. Fit is better for me!

I haven't worn the shoes much, which it's why I rated it a four.... it was nice and cushiony. Just what I wanted!

I needed to trade in my ASICS and Altras. ASICS were too hard and Altras weren't giving me enough support after my surgery for plantar fasciitis. The Adrenaline fit that bill for me. They gave me the support I needed while still offering enough cushion to make each step and my stride more comfortable. While I typically wear an 8 in every other shoe, I'm always a 9 in athletic shoes so that's what I went with and it was a perfect fit. I still struggle with some calf and shin pain, but it really varies on how much I can roll/stretch out my problem areas. Plus, recovery time. I'd like to get a second pair that I can start breaking in. I have to say I liked the color options of the 19 better than the 20 so far, so I might wait a bit longer and see if any other designs for the 20 come out.

I am a severe over-pronator with trouble finding sufficiently narrow shoes. These shoes provide great stability. The cushioning compressed within just a few weeks, however. Wish I could get this stability with firmer support.
