I can't honestly say how the fit is because the eyelets are so rough you can't pull the shoestrings through them so I can't really say how they fit because I can't pull the shoestrings tight. The listing says leather uppers. I am not seeing much of ANY leather in these shoes, I am sure there is some there but these are mostly synthetic. In all honesty these shoes are horrible, cheaply made. I was a Skechers fan until these arrived. I can get better than this at Wal-Mart for less. These will be going back !!!!! How does Skechers even put their name on this Chinese junk....

I was excited to find a shoe offered in a wide width. I am, however, not happy with the fit of these boots. The width is wider than standard but not by a lot. I went with 1/2 size over what I usually wear because that will sometimes help with the width issues I have, I shouldn't have. My feet feel like they are flopping around in the boot but I feel if I had gone the 1/2 size down the width would be too tight. If I had tried them on in a store I would have put them back on the shelf. They are extremely stiff as well. I am keeping them because I need a boot now but I wouldn't recommend them or buy them again.

Blown out the sides in 6 months. Guess it’s true “you get what you paid for”. Usually an awesome brand but not this shoe.

These have an unfortunate seam that dig into the top of the foot. Could tell at the first try-on that it would be a problem. Returned.

These felt very stiff and tubular in construction, wider and not conforming to the foot (unlike Salomon and other high end brands). Length true to size. Extremely cushy insole, almost too cushy. Didn't hold my ankle/foot particularly well due to width and stiffness.

Left boot's tongue presses on the front of my ankle, causing pain. I can't wear them.

No more Sketchers for me. First pair fell apart, returned to Sketchers and was refunded my purchase price. Tried a second pair and they lasted a little longer but eventually failed as well.

This is the worst shoe I have ever purchased in my life! Do not buy unless you will be using them for walking less than a mile at a time. Typically, when I purchase a shoe or boot, I wear them until they fall apart. This will be the first pair of shoes I give or throw away in over 30 years. I got these for light to moderate exercise and hiking. The seam and V shaped heel always gives me a blister when walking more than a few miles. They fit great and don't slide around so I have no idea why this keeps occurring other than those designs. I have tried breaking these in many times, different socks, laces, tying techniques etc and this persistently occurs. The inner lining on the sole is also terrible and irritates my feet with longer distances. I have returned to this pair sitting in my closest over the years and every time I regret it. This is very disappointing as they have an attractive appearance for the price. Look elsewhere if you care about comfort and reliability. You will have to purchase an orthotics liner at a minimum. Just spend a little more money on a pair of shoes such as Merrels.
