I felt that the quality wasn't great made me feel as if I was wearing cheaply high school gym clothes

I recently bought two pairs to use while working on the lawn. They both have scratchy, abrasive waistbands that are needlessly uncomfortable. It's not just the inside label, but the entire waistband.

Just cheap.....

Very cheap material. Waist band is very rough. Won't be wearing these shorts. Waste of money.

I've been using Champion shorts for many years. I decided I needed some new ones and because they were cotton, that would be a nice change from polyester blend. Wow! The waist band fell apart on the very first usage. I'm going to return these for a refund and Champion better be paying the postage!

You've gone down hill. I've worn Champion rugby shorts for over ten years and they last a long time! I've needed to replace them recently and cannot find them. I ordered some other Champion shorts to try and they are terrible. Poorly fitting. Not happy at all.

These shorts are no where near the quality they were 2-3 years ago. Very disappointed as they were great shorts. Waistband is weak and doesn't hold the shorts up if any sort a weight is in the pockets. The good ones were "made in Pakistan". These were made in India.

I was expecting these to be soft cotton, but they are a very rough cotton. These are like high school gym shorts.

My experience with Champion was poor. The product is good but I did not get a correct order. Instead of medium shorts I was sent a XXXL Tee Shirt.

Recommend to anyone,they are awesome. Just what i expected.

The previous version of Champion Men's Authentic Cotton 9-Inch Shorts with Pockets was of such better quality. These cheap replacements fell apart after 3 months. Save your money. I have been a champion customer for years, but I have switched brands.

Do not order during the holiday season because they will be the wrong size and they will take a long time to get to you due to the rush also the wrong kind mines were not cotton they were like basketball gym shorts

I have both older and new Champion shorts.. The older ones are heavier and much better quality.. Wider band, heavier cotton really stands the test of time. The new ones are lightweight garbage.. Sorry Champion.. Amazing how they charge WAY more but give you so much LESS. Boo.. wont buy again

These are poor quality shorts. Someone at Champion was looking to cut costs. Prior versions of these shorts were much higher quality. The materials is cheap, the craftsmanship is poor.The best use for them may be to wash your vehicle.

Champion's quality is not what it used to be. These shorts are made of cheap thin material and are crap. I've been buying champion t-shirts and shorts for nearly 40 years but this will be my last purchase. Very disappointed!

Poor quality, worn twice already coming apart

They were unsuitable because they have a stiff inner lining around the waist that is uncomfortable. I returned them immediately and have not received a refund

Expected better quality product from Champion, looks and fells very cheap material

I made a return on these items and no one has got back to me, I tried calling and no one answers.

I bought 2 pairs of these shorts hoping they would be like the ones I purchased before. the material is not soft and reminds me of a poly blend. The inside of the waistband is stiff rubber type material that irritates the skin

The elastic in most of my old champion shorts are not elastic anymore, they are quite a few years old and it is just time to replace them. Luckily I only purchased one pair of these just to make sure they were the same as they used to be. They are not, shorts are longer than they used to be by about 2 inches, thinner materiel than they used to be and after only one wear the stitching on the hem at the bottom of the leg was coming apart. I have been using the same style champion shorts for probably over 20 years, I have always found them to be comfortable and durable. I guess they were too durable so champion had to start to cheap out with the quality so they wouldn't last as long, very sad to see the quality go down hill the way it has.
