These are beautiful and exceptionally comfortable right out of the box. My new favorite go to shoe that works for almost every occasion.

Second attempt at this style. Beautiful quality, excellent fit. (I ordered a 9M and typically wear 8.5; toe box slightly wider than N) Unfortunately this pair squeaks, just like the first pair. I can’t have shoes that squeak, not even if they’re super comfortable, and especially not for what I paid. Going back.

I can understand the price point now. These are well crafted and comfortable. I could see myself wearing these all day and perfect for driving and for travel. The length was perfect and width slightly wider than standard, which worked to my advantage. For reference I’m typically an 8.5 with a wider toe box, and M width often requires a break-in period. Unfortunately both shows squeak, even on carpet, so back they go. I’ll def try another pair though.

Beautiful leather and shoe quality. My forefoot is just a bit too wide- I sized up in hopes it would be enough but no go. I don’t have “wide” feet, but I do have a runner’s forefoot which means some styles just don’t work. All that said, it’s a gorgeous shoe. Wish it had worked for me.

I tried the 9.5 first, my usual size -- but they're too large/long. So I exchanged for the 9 and they're definitely too short. Too bad. soft leather, some arch support, nice style. But not a good fit.

I love the soft leather and high quality construction. Don't care for the rather narrow and not very sturdy heel cup -- not much ankle support to keep me in the shoe. Runs about 1/2 size on large -- I'm a real 9.5 and they feel just a little too large. True medium width too, so with any stretching they may be toooo big. I'm exchanging for a 9 just to try that -- I love the way they look, and the 1/2" heel with some arch support padding. At this price they gotta be close to perfect.

I was looking for ballet flats when I stumbled upwind these shoes. When they arrived I am so glad I made this choice. The comfort is amazing and I feel they look stylish and not ordinary. The leather is soft and the arch is supported. I would recommend these flats.

Based on some reviews that it runs large I ordered 7.5 (I usually wear between a 7.5 -8) and it was way too tight, so much so that I didn't think wearing it for a while would make a difference, so will return. Not sure if I'll order the 8 although that will probably fit, because ambivalent about style. They do feel as if with the right fit they'd be extremely comfortable. Ordered the black; not a true black but more like a dark brown.

I really wanted this shoe to work... it is the perfect style. It is a beautiful shoe, however, it was at least a 1/2 size big. I am a true 5.5 which is what I ordered, however, there was at least 2 fingers of space between my heel and the back of the shoe. Unfortunately, this is the smallest size.

This shoe is beautifully constructed of soft fine leather, leather lined and will make my sensitve feet very happy after receiving the correct size. The 8 is half size too large to fit my feet.

I tried this expensive shoe because of the rave reviews. It IS very comfortable in every way. On me, however, the shoes looked like bedroom slippers. I can compromise on style for comfort, but not at that price point. I needed to love the look of them too and didn't.

Cute, but no arch support. Footbed just felt squishy. Back they went.

My wide foot looked bulgy on side. Not attractive. They are very well made lovely shoes. Just not nice on my wider supinated feet.

Was suprised at how well this shoe stayed on my foot. The back looks like it would slip off when walking but it does not. However, the shoe is too tight and narrow on my foot, so not comfortable. Maybe if the size was right, the back would slip, I don’t know. But very sleek look.

These are really beautiful shoes with soft leather but I didn't like the way they looked on my foot. They also were a bit too narrow. They may have stretched with wear, but combined with they way they looked, they weren't worth the investment.

Nice looking shoe. I have a narrow heel and walked out of the shoe. I am returning the shoes.

I am a true size 9 and ordered a 9. Way too big, shoes will be returned.

Tried my usual size 9 and slipped on the heel. Not sure if it was because the length or if the heel was just too wide. Returned for an 8.5 which was too narrow. Style was amazing, sad they did not fit well but for the price they needed to be perfect.

This brand must have strange sizing. I am a pretty true 7.5. I can wear a size 8 boot if I wear socks. I read the reviews about this style running a half size large, so I ordered a size 7. It fit snugly and I thought it might stretch and be comfortable, but it might not and I would have a pair of shoes that were too short in the toe area. At this price, I did not want another pair of shoes sitting in my closet that don't fit well. A half size up would be perfect, as they were only slightly snug, so those went back and I ordered a size 7.5. The 7.5 fell off my feet. They felt more like an 8-8.5 than a 7.5. I don't know why there is such a huge difference in 1/2 sizes. They are great shoes and I would have loved to keep them, if they had only fit.

I’m so sorry I bought these and I need to warn you of the risk. I’ve had them for six months and already the soles have separated from the shoe at the toes. I have to get new shoes! I walk a lot in my job and there is no arch support, to say nothing of how destroyed the soles look. I’ve even attempted to glue the soles back on. Don’t bother. I’d advise maybe spending your money on Clarks, perhaps.

These run so big! I have several pair of this brand and for some reason they really missed sizing on this style, order a full size smaller.

Gave me blisters day one!

The right shoe was like a completely different shoe to the left. The left shoe fit perfectly and very comfortable. The right shoe, however, was at least a 1/2 size larger, and wider than the left shoe. It also did not fit on my foot (at an odd angle) as nicely as the left shoe. I have other L'Amour Des Pied shoes and they are very comfortable. Unfortunately, I will be returning these shoes.

It would be nice if the two leather uppers matched and were the same color and texture black. Also they were received with creases on the tp obviously shop worn.
