I bought these as a gift for my wife - who specifically asked for "soft and comfy" socks and they definitely fit the bill. They don't slide down and she's commented multiple times on how comfortable they are. Highly recommended.

I need a crew sock that has elastic gentle enough that it leaves no mark on my ankle. This is the only socks I've found that are gentle yet stay up. It's a bonus that they are soft as well. Attractive and comfortable! And I've worn them for months and there are no holes at toe nor heel.
