Great socks for cold weather. Have used these in sub zero weather with insulated boots. Feet have stayed warm.

I ordered these intending to use them in my waders on cold days waterfowl hunting but found them comfortable to wear casually on chilly days. Feet remained warm in 30 degree weather. I wouldn't recommend them on really cold days

Good fitting sock, & warm !

Purchased two pairs in 2015. They only lasted about 5 wears before a hole developed in each of the heels. I've had them stored in our garage since then and finally got a chance to leave a review. I wore these with boots and did nothing more than normal walking and hiking with no additional weight (i.e. backpack).

Purchased a pair in December of 2017 (just over a year ago). They were very comfy and fit great, great for cold days! After realizing how much I enjoyed them, I purchased 9 more pairs thinking it would be a good investment for the next few years. After about a year (maybe a dozen wears for each pair) they started to develop holes in the heel and pad. Just over a year since buying and I am now down to one pair which has a wear or two left in them before what remains of the fabric completely tears through.

I purchased 2 pair and gave them to my husband for Christmas. He loved them at first. But in just over a month of light wear 3 of the 4 socks have holes in the soles. He's very disappointed.

The blend is mostly Acrylic, not wool. Does not feel like wool, does not absorb or keep your foot warm like wool. They pill terribly after 1 wear. Washed on cold, hung to dry and they are still super snug in the calf and ankle-and I'm a female, so I feel bad if a man buys these expecting a nice boot sock. I called Columbia about my disappointment in the materials and fit. Columbia told me these socks DO have a warranty, but "Columbia does not hold the warranty for the socks and I'll have to get back to you in a couple of weeks to tell you who does hold the warranty." What? Turns out these socks are not made by Columbia, or warrantied by Columbia. A third-party manufacturer makes them and buys the Columbia name license. What?! I'm so mad that I lost my money on this. I won't rebuy.

Very comfortable socks. They do a nice job during chilly days keeping my feet warm. I am giving it a poor review and not recommending it because it has developed a hole in the toes after maybe a dozen uses. I'm very disappointed that the quality of the socks are not better.

I ordered several different pairs of socks. The others are acceptable. These are so tight in the calf area that they would only fit a person with chicken sized calf muscles.
