I don't know why I am surprised. I had another pair of Blondo boots that I loved, loved, loved many years ago. I developed arthritis and bunions and had to give up those Blondo boots as the heel was too high for me to wear them comfortably anymore. Because of said arthritis and bunions, I was a bit afraid of the nearly 2 inch heel on the Blondo Victoria bootie, and it looked narrow and stylish. That could never fit my feet comfortably. Nothing fits my feet comfortably out of the box. I need toe room, I need arch support, but I trusted the reviews from others with bunions that weren't bothered by the Victoria bootie. I wear a 9 or 9.5 and 9.5 fit perfectly. I didn't think I would get my foot in them, but then I did and they felt WONDERFUL! I wore them around the house for 2 hours and felt like I could run around the block in them. No break-in time necessary for these! Cute, stylish rain boots, who knew?! I know I will be grabbing for these all the time.

I bought both the Valli Waterproof and the Victoria Waterproof. I've worn the Valli for years and it's a reliable wet weather bootie but I wanted to try the Victoria as I like the cut out around the ankle. The Victoria felt a little more narrow through the toes than the Valli to me, maybe because my foot was going forward with less structure around the ankle. So although they are a bit cuter, I am returning Victoria and keeping with trusty Valli. If you have a wider ankle or rubbing at the ankle in booties this would be a great choice as the opening is more comfortable than Valli. Might be a bit of a low cut for true winter slush but you'd probably wear a full boot on those days. Either way, you cannot go wrong with Blondo if you need waterproof!

You cannot go wrong with these boots! I'm between a size 8.5 and 9, but almost always buy size 9. These 9s fit me perfectly! I've never been able to wear a pair of shoes or boots right out of the box for hours on end, but these babies were put straight on and walked in for hours nonstop for three days. They are SO comfortable and I'm now a Blondo fan for life! I ordered the Cognac and the Taupe Nubuck because I couldn't decide which color I would like better. The Cognac is not as orange as it looks in all the photos and has a little distressed western flare. The Taupe is close to an olive green. In the end I kept the Taupe because it was slightly dressier and I sadly don't need 2 pairs of waterproof boots right now. Kuddos to Zappos too for absolutely fabulous service! I had my boots in 24 hours, as promised! The returned boots were processed the same day I dropped them off at UPS. Wow! Best shopping experience EVER!

I loved the fit but the color I ordered was Cognac and the boot I received was definitely chocolate brown and was was not as depicted.

This is my 2nd pair of Blondo Waterproof boots and they've become my new favorites. Comfortable right out of the box. I only made comfort a 4 because the left boot rubs just under my ankle bone and I'm using a bandaid to block the top of the boot from rubbing my skin. I am not sure if the leather will soften, but i hope this is just temporary. True to size and super cute with skinny jeans.

I ordered 10, since I wear 9-9.5 depending. And since this is fall boot and I midht feel like wearing a thicker sock. My concern was - the boots might chafe my ankles, but they do not. Even in moderately thick socks. The boots ave very comfortable. No problem - wearing them for the first time - for a 2 hour grocery shopping trip. By the end of it though, my heel started feeling a bit sore - but only because it is so used to better padding on my skeakers. I still wonder how they will feel on longer walks - like when you are a tourist in Amsterdam. Probably not the best idea. I can only report when I am back.

I absolutely love these. I work on my feet all day in a hair salon and these are stylish yet comfortable! Wish I could could buy every color

These are super cute. The cutouts are low and you will not be able to wear many types of socks with them without them showing. I am returning because they ran small and were too short and narrow especially around the toes.

Love these booties! I bought them over a year ago and wear them ALL the time. I wear them to work and walking around town, can easily spend 8 hours in them. People ask me all the time who makes them. They feel like slippers. :)

Love these boots! Got them for a trip to Montana; wore them in drizzly rain and never slipped on the wet pavement. Very stylish without being too cowboy.

Great boot, very stylish, I didn’t have to break them in. I had to purchase the silicon inserts though, as my heels were aching after a few hours of walking.

2nd pair of Blondo...very comfy and stylish. I have bunions on both feet and have NO issues with this shoe. Will work with many different outfits! Yeah!

As much as I really like these shoes, I have a very high arched foot. The support is... maybe moderate and would great for many. Just not for me.

If it had a zipper, may have been a different review but it was just too narrow. Super cute shoe though.

First tried the boots on without socks and they fit like a glove, which concerned me a bit. Just wore them around the house with thin socks and they were fine! I think the material will continue to stretch with wear; stylish enough to wear with casual skirts as well as jeans. Saw in other reviews knocks on the heel material, which is a faux stacked wood look. The boots are waterproof so I think a wood heel wouldn't really be appropriate; will just need to be mindful of that.

Was true to size - I wear 6.5 and they fit like a glove - no sore spots after wearing them right out of the box for a few miles of walking. Need really low black socks or you will see them on the side. Kinda sucked to buy a bunch of socks just to work with these boots, but they look really good. I plan on wearing mostly for work. Very comfortable to walk in.

These boots felt like I put on slippers. They are extremely comfortable and great for a busy day running around. They look super cute as well!

The cut out on the side rubbed my ankle bone. Also, the “taupe” color was more of an olive green. I returned these for the “Valli” style, which I am very happy with.

This bootie is my very favorite go to shoe. I love that it's weatherproof. It's so comfortable, that I can wear them all day without worry of sore feet. I plan to purchase in another color. When I noted that this shoe felt true to fit, I wear and 8 1/2 and 9. When I wear most shoes, I wear a 9, and when I wear an open toe shoe, I wear an 8 1/2. I purchased a 9, and it's perfect.

I have this boot in black and love it. Very comfortable style. I ordered this one because of the color, heel height and comfort, but....when the shoe arrived, it looked like it has been worn. The shaft, bottom and inside of the shoe had dirt on it and the leather wrapped heel on one was scratched off and very noticeable. I was super bummed and very disappointed, as I’ve never had any quality issues. Giving it a 5 star, because it’s a great bootie, but someone overlooked that it had already been worn...outside and for a while.

I LOVE these boots! I *really* wear the heck out of them living in a European city. I hoof it between home and work, over cobblestones, etcetera, and they feel great. Super happy with them.

Love the bootie. Bought a size 9. Had to return them because the right one fit great but left one was probably a size larger than the right one. Guessing one was marked incorrectly.

Fit is great, true to size. Toe is not cramped— almond instead of pointy. Rubs a little on a toe on my left foot but not badly. Look is polished, sleek, and smart. Great with skirt and dresses or with jeans. Enough heel to give height and length but low enough to make for comfortable walking, and days spent hustling on a retail floor. Also low enough to fit my company’s dress code! Very happy with my purchase.

These boots are beautiful. They look great with dress pants, or tights and a dress or skirt. In the winter, when boots are needed, it will be nice to have a product that will not only keep my feet dry, but I will look put together. I was hesitant to buy a pair without a zipper, but getting these on and off is really easy. There was no dreaded break-in period, and the heel is slight enough that walking is easy. From a size perspective, I hover from 7.5M to 8M, and bought the 8M, and the fit is perfect.
