I am a short boot aficionado and have an array of expensive, rain, fancy, rugged, and cute-but-not all-day-commitment styles. THESE are the BEST! Classic style, not clunky, deep rich color, and comfortable enough to wear in Portland rain as well as mushroom foraging in the woods (not yet, but I could). Planning on NYC with them in the spring. If this style is your vibe, look no further.

Love these booties!! Comfort right out of the box, I know people say that all the time, but these truly are beyond what you might expect when you first put them on. And the green suede is very cool, glad I went for it!! I have a high instep and was concerned, but the goring on both sides is perfect!! Bring on the snow and the slush!!!

Another winner from Born! These won the Shoes to Take to Italy contest and they were super comfy for 2 weeks of cobblestones. Their waterproofing is a delight now that I'm back home in rainy Portland. And they look great-two friends have said they are going to buy them on my recommendation.

Very comfortable right out of the box! I am a size 7 and a 7 fit perfectly with a moderate thickness sock. More casual looking so if you’re looking for something dressier this might not be a good choice. Wore them all day the first day.... love them.

These bots are solid, beautiful, well made and super comfortable, just a little clunky for an old gal like me, otherwise would have happily and gratefully kept them. May order again!!

Straight out of the box, I wore them all day. Look great and so comfortable. I did purchase 1/2 up since I like to wear thick socks. Love Born shoes and these are a keeper!

I LOVE these new boots - just what I wanted! They are super comfortable and a bit insulated but not too bulky, and the tread on the bottom is pretty good for snowy or icy walkways. The style is cute and I loved the dark gray color - I can wear them to work with black, gray or even brown toned clothing and they look good! My workplace is on the more casual side, it's true, but they look nice. Also, they perform about as well as my real snow boots but with much more style!

Very nice looking rain boot, dressy enough for street-to-indoor functions. Soothing shade of green, they fit perfectly right out of the box.

These boots were comfortable from the minute I put them on! I purchased them for some wet fall and winter travel I have coming up, and they will be perfect. Knowing they are waterproof is perfect! My daughter already has these boots and loves them!

Love it. Only complaint I may have, is that it eats up my socks... so I’m adjusting it throughout the day. Otherwise, I luv it

These are truly the cutest boots, and the fact that they are waterproof makes them so awesome. I used another pair of Born booties that I own to pick the size for these, and sadly that didn't work out so well. My other Born's are a size 6, I normally wear a 6.5 or 7. I ordered these in a 6 and they were way too short. I'm not sure if I'll need a 6.5 or 7. They are currently out of stock, so I'll have to wait :(

LOVE these boots! I wore them the day I received them, and nearly every day since! They are practical -- but better yet, they are cute and comfy. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic waterproof boot. Super comfortable from the beginning. I bought them on a Monday, they arrived on Tuesday and I wore them Wednesday through Monday while traveling in snow and rain, including hours of walking and hiking. They held up well but needed to be cleaned afterward to restore a bit of the shine. I definitely recommend them!

I wanted to love these, but as they are slip ons - my heels slip and my socks slide down. This doesn't happen with Born zip up boots. Sadly, these went back.

If you like the Chelsea style, these could be perfect for you. They have a really comfortable footbed with great arch support, and they don’t slide. But if the Chelsea style’s elastic ankle is hit-or-miss for you, this boot might not be it, at least not for all-day wear. It’s pretty snug around the ankle, so much that my ankles can hurt by the end of the day when i wear them to work.

Was too small. No room to wear a sock. Need a minimum of a 1/2 size larger.

Good quality boot and comfortable that I really wanted to work. Unfortunately, I have a very high instep, and there is no way this step in boot will stretch out enough to not rub on the top of my foot. Similar issue with Blundstones.

Fit was good. I'm hoping they stretch out a bit.

This boot is beautiful and the perfect width for me with my mostly narrow foot, other than the toe box. That is my problem, not Born's!

This is a well made boot, but it seems to run small. I returned them.

These are essentially beautiful boots, but a little heavier than I prefer in a walking boot. One note for Zappos: The boots arrived scuffed, and had someone's used orthotics left inside them. Ewww.

Nice looking shoe with what felt like good support. However, it was too narrow so I had to return it. I do not have a wide foot, but this did not have enough room for me in the toe box.

The Born last just doesn't seem to fit my feet. Too narrow in the forefoot. I noticed that Zappos now indicates "almond" or "rounded" to describe the shoe's toe shape, which is very helpful. This is definitely more of an "almond". Otherwise shoe seems to be good quality.

The shoes fit quite well, aside from some rubbing on my shins. I hope the packers will first check that returned shoes don't have dirty socks left in them before re-sending the item to a new purchaser. That was a bit of a turn-off to find!
