My heel barely touched the edge of this shoe; it was enough to be uncomfortable but manageable. At this price, it needs to fit like a glove. Return.

These shoes are lovely but I need more arch support than offered. I am regretfully returning them.

Don't be dissuaded when you take the shoe out of the box; it's not attractive off the foot. The pictures don't do it justice either. However, it is a pretty slide on the foot. It grabs the arch nicely; there is a slight rise on the heel that keeps your foot snug and not likely to slide off the sole. The leather is supple. It's a very comfortable slide.
