Poor quality and fit

This is NOT the same quality as it was a year ago. I received this UGG robe as a gift last year and it was amazing - so lush and thick - the quality and weight of the fabric was terrific. I ordered a few of these to give as gifts and couldn't believe how the material had changed. They must have changed suppliers - the fabric is half the weight of the original. I even checked the item numbers on the inside tag to make sure I was comparing the same style and sure enough the items are exactly the same, but the quality sure is not. I'm disappointed that a company like UGG, that has a reputation for quality and comfort, would allow such a dramatic decline in their product. I was prepared to give 3 of these as gifts this year but now I am looking elsewhere.

This robe is incredibly beautiful and soft. However, it does not absorb water and therefore does not work well as a bathrobe.
