This bootie brings me such joy. I love everything about it - the ultra-soft, distressed leather, the comfortable foot bed, the barely-there heel, the antique brass zippers the slightly-rounded-but-still-pointed toe. Initially, I was worried about the width since I have wide feet and many reviewers have remarked at how narrow it is, which is true. I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5 and bought this in a 9. The length is perfect and because the leather is so soft, the shoe easily accommodates my wide foot. The first time out I wore them without socks, but the second time I wore a thin cotton sock and they were comfortable both ways. I anticipate they will become more comfortable as they stretch and form to my foot. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and hope they last a very long time.

Don’t really want to be the only one to offer negative info for this bootie I paid attention to sizing reviews and even though I am a solid size 9, I ordered both the 9.5 and 10 to try both. The 9.5 was long enough but the top of the bootie over the big toe area is too “low” - in other words the space from the insole to the top of boot in toe area was too short. The 10 was better for the top of the toe, but it was too long. Really wanted these to work but had to return both sizes.

I used to wear a size 10 Medium in most shoe brands, but in recent years my feet have shortened to a 9.5. I also used to be 5'8" in height and am now 5'5", but wait, that's a different story. :) Anyway, based on reviews for this beautifully made boot I went up a half size and ordered the 10. I could have gone with my normal 9.5 for a slightly snug fit without socks, but the 10 will allow me to wear a mid-weight sock comfortably. I always wear socks with boots during our cold winter days. I love the look of the boot, the quality of the leather, and the sole is textured for better traction. This is my first Trask purchase but will likely not be my last. I also love the double zippers. I am a happy customer.

Beautiful shoe! Had to return the first shipment because the recommended size was about half size too small. Otherwise, great shoe!

These shoes are really cute. The leather is soft and the style and color are perfect. I normally wear an 8 1/2 but order a full size larger and they fit great.

I normally wear a 9 but bought a 9.5 based on other reviews and the 9.5 fits like a glove. So be sure to order a 1/2 size up - if I wanted to wear socks, I would need a size 10. They are so soft and look great on!

The Aubrey and Allison are the exact same boot Except for side zippers vs elastic side gores. The Aubrey is a smidgen wider at the ankles and easier to put on because of dual side zips. I preferred the Allison for my somewhat narrow ankles. I did order half size up due to almond toe shape of boot. These are Lovely low heel boots. Not extraordinarily comfortable but a Good looking boot for reasonable walking young feet. My 60 yr old feet lack cartilage and need better padding if I was going to wear them for 5-8 hours.

These are beautiful booties. The leather is so soft and the insole is nicely padded. I'm recovering from toe surgery and haven't worn them yet, but they feel wonderful when I try them on. They are expensive shoes, but worth the price in quality and comfort.

I agree with other reviewers and recommend sizing up 1/2 size. These boots are fantastic. Extremely comfortable out of the box and a great look. However the boots had a squeak when I first put them on. Found another pair at a store and they squeaked too. Almost returned them but liked them so much I decided to keep them. After wearing around the squeaky sound went away. So glad I stuck it out!

Trask Aubrey bootie is adorable! Nice quality leather and great style. Unfortunately, the shoe is extremely narrow -- too narrow for me to wear. (NOTE: I do not have a wide foot.) The length of the shoe is perfectly fine, so I believe sizing up will not solve the narrow width problem for me. Also, the toe-box is rather shallow and was uncomfortable. I am sorry to have to return these booties. I loved the way they looked. They are well cushioned, too.

Although they seem to understand fashion, they don't understand feet. Feet have length, width and height. They have forgotten about the height of a foot. The shoes are very 'flat' and don't allow for comfort, very tight around the front part of the foot (despite me ordering 1/2 size up). Perhaps the foot models in the country where they are made have a more flat foot than I do. Another return, and the quest for cute black booties continues...

Should have listened to the reviews and ordered next size up. When I did the 7 fit perfectly. I loved the original taupe color but that wasn't available so got the gray and like it. My only complaint is the zipper on the ankle side does hurt a bit so am ordering the same shoe without zippers before deciding whether to keep. Love the style!

I love love love the look of this boot but sadly the 9.5 which is my normal size is too small! I just ordered a 10 , I would like these gorgeous boots in every color

I really liked this boots but am returning them because they are too long. Before ordering, I read the reviews that recommended ordering a half size larger, so I did. (I wear a size 9 and ordered a 9.5). I wish I wouldn't have because they were a half size too big. The boots are beautifully made, nice looking and when you put them on, they are silky smooth inside. I would have exchanged them for a size 9, but the price was going to be $50 more than what I originally paid. I couldn't justify that, so I ordered something else.

Hate having to return these, but footbed was too tight and my heel slipped. Moving to another size would not help.

These are gorgeous and feel wonderful on my feet. I recommend them highly!

You said in the description to order a 1/2 size larger so I did and they are too big. It bums me out because these are the ones that I want to keep, but they don't fit so I have to make another order for the right size. You should fix the description.

This is my 3rd pair of Trask boots. These felt a little wider at the ankle but I believe it’s due to the zipper style compared to elastic on my 2 other pair. I do have narrow feet but I still love these boots!

Size 8 in Trask is perfect for me although I wear 7 1/2 in most other shoes. I love these boots for their understated elegance. I thought they might be a little high and rub my ankle, but they're perfect. Comfortable from first wearing. TWO side zippers are unnecessary (one would do), but they're fun and can be convenient.

I really loved these shoes. The materials feel quality, soft and luxurious. They are a really stylish. They weren't the right fit for my problem foot, but I wish I could have made them work for me. Nicest looking boot that I have seen all year.

This Aubrey are beautiful booties! I usually wear a 7-7.5 so I followed the reviews online and ordered a size 8, they are really .5 to big, when I walk my heels move around, sending them back

This is a beautiful, well made bootie, but is way to tight for me in the toe area. I ordered a half size up as other reviews recommended. While the length was fine, the toe box seemed very shallow and was uncomfortable. Again, beautiful shoe!
