The size was exactly right. New Crocs, especially these since they don't have any breathing holes, tend to create a farting noise when you first start walking in them which I find hilarious. That generally goes away in a week or two as they meld to your feet. You could always wear socks for those first few weeks just until they break in... Love them. My third pair.
