The width surprised me, as I have almost the identical pair of Sketchers, instead the Summit. And they are the perfect fit! I think the difference in width has to do with the the Summit having a knit material over the little toe area, and it stretches nicely. The Gratis Strolling has a stiffer material over that area. Now over time, the Summit did start to fray in that area, and I don't think that will happen with the Gratis. But it's a tighter fit.

Love the Gratis sneaker, lightweight, flexible, NO BLISTERS. Happy to reorder this style since we can't go to the mall quite yet and I can't deal with shipping back and forth trying to find a pair that doesn't dig into the back of my heels. When the foam insole compresses, I buy Dr Scholl's insoles and they feel as good as new.

Comfortable for every day walking, long walking treks, baby sitting active children. Insole foam is very comfortable & fits my arch well. 100% satisfied with these shoes.
My only wish, even though I purchased the narrow, is the bungee tie would have some way to snug up. I have a very narrow foot & even the narrow width size was slightly loose on me. If I could snug up the bungee tie I'd be 110% satisfied.

I like these shoes. They're light weight and comfortable. I've worn them when I was out walking around a lot and they don't make my feet hurt. I did put a heel protector strip in them because there isn't any cushioning like regular sneakers and the top of the heel was rubbing on the back of my heel area. They look nice, not chunky like other sneakers for sporty activities. They'e nice for casual walking and wearing all day. Easy to clean also.

This is the best walking shoe ever! I walk every morning at dawn, due to back issues and replaced knees, and just love these shoes. The wide width gives my feet room to move.

I wear them for my daily walks they are so comfortable. I wear them with jeans, they are a little more stylish than typical sneakers so they look a little dressier and provide a nice accent with the silver trim around the shoes. I liked them so well I bought a 2nd pair.

This is my third pair of Gratis Strolling sneaks. They are my go to for outside activities. I have to say on size I have one in 8 1/2 W, 9M and 9W (due to availability) and they all seem to fit. The bungee lace ups are the best, no stopping to fix untied laces or worrying about getting caught on bike pedals. Very comfortable and neat appearance.
