This is the 2nd year I order this shoe, because I love it before. This year they are smaller :-( at least half a size smaller and I have had these shoes only for a month and its so small that makes my toes go numb after walking a block or so on them. why would they change the sizing.? It is an expensive mistake. If you order these shoes I recommend to order your number and a a half number up and a whole number up -again- to check the fit.

Taos is my go-to shoe, I do a lot of walking and they're always comfortable so I was super excited to order these. I wanted to love them, I really did, but I had to send them back. They were narrow, didn't have the support I was expecting (they felt flat and hard) and the zipper was difficult.

The leather was just too stiff. Very uncomfortable.

I ordered these shoes 3.5 years ago, and I have worn them to death ever since. Right out of the box I was able to wear them for 8 hours straight. At the time I had never spent that much on a pair of shoes, but they were worth every penny. My friends’ pre-teen kids think I’m cool because of these shoes. They’ve only recently started to feel uncomfortable, but I plan to buy new insoles to try & extend their life. Unfortunately, this brand’s similar styles do not feel the same. Please bring them back!

This is a correction to my previous review, where I said that some reviewers said that the shoe ran a little large. I meant to say 'small.' Here is my corrected review: Very comfortable shoe. Soft leather. Nice arch support. I wear a true size 9.5 (with slightly wide feet because of bunions). But I took a chance on the size 10 because some reviewers said that the shoe ran a little small. Unfortunately, I had to return this shoe because it was a little too large for me.

So sad they seem to have been discontinued :( These were my favorite shoes ever! I’ve had four pairs in a row and my feet never felt better! Excellent arch support. The ones with thicker soles are too stiff and uncomfortable. Damn

I love these and have worn them almost every day for the past year.

I’m an 8.5 in most shoes but almost always size up to a 9. These size 9 fit just right. I would say they run a half-size smaller. They were comfy right out of the box, no need to break in. I love the arch support. Also because I’m pregnant I love that they have a zipper—no need to fuss with laces!

Absolutely in love with these - the quality and style is amazing! Beautifully made and very nice leather. I’m holding them to see if they will work- I find the toe box not as roomy as I’d expect. A little cramped. Great arch support. Trying to decide if I’m going to keep them for this reason .. but overall these are wonderfully made and zipper makes them easy!

I have two pair (stone & steel), b/c they're that great. Always get compliments. Versatile style, super comfortable, and supportive enough for daily casual wear (not my choice for a hike, of course). Exceptional arch support. Bought usual size—9.5. Perfect for my low-volume foot w/ high arches. One note: I purchased/returned black and chose steel instead. It works w/ black w/out being so harsh.

Love these booties. Look really great with jeans! They were not my first choice, but I took a chance and glad I did. I wear 6.5-7 and the 7 fits perfect. Stylish and comfortable at the same time. The color appeared to be darker in the advertisement - color is stone. When they arrived, they were quite a bit lighter. I kept them and am glad I did as they go nicely with a lot of things I already own and look great. I would purchase again.

I LOVE these sneakers! Love love love them. They're good looking, well made, nice leather, super comfortable, very supportive! I hope they keep making them for years, because I'm going to need another pair a few years from now when I finally wear these down.

Beautiful shoes, sharp looking, and I love the side zipper. Makes getting in and out of the shoes so much easier. Unfortunately I need about 1/2 size larger & 11 is the largest available. I need a euro size 43, & in some brands I can get away with US size 11. Not these.

They are lovely shoes and I wish I could have kept them. I was looking for nice high-top sneakers with a zipper. I spend months at a time in Japan, & the zipper makes the eternal on/off of shoes go so much easier (I’m old and stiff). Unfortunately I also wear a Euro size 43, which is very hard to find. These were just a tad too short.

I bought a pair of these two years ago and wore them till they couldn’t possibly be worn anymore. They are some of the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever put on my feet. The zipper closure makes it easy to put on and take off (especially for me because I sometimes lose strength in my hands.) I treated this new pair with water resistant spray and it’s extended the life of the shoes considerably. Highly recommend, wonderful arch support too!

Returned because I didn’t care for the color. Great shoe, though. Ample arch support so I do not need orthotics. I purchased in black first, and kept those!

Wow! My feet are very picky and love good arch support. These shoes did not disappoint! They are so comfortable, I wore them for the first time in total comfort. They run true to size.

Got these in today, and have walked around my house in them a bit. Thus far, I luv them. Will not need my orthotics. I do believe it will take a few hours/ indoor wearing on my carpet before I wear outside because the arch is high, but my arches have fallen. Nice leather, and I love the zipper option. I understand some do not like the zipper placement, but I believe having it on the outside of the sneaker is best for those with mobility issues bending. Think these will be GREAT airport shoes!

I’ll buy diff colors - love these. Great for travel too.
