The feel of the leather is excellent. The quality is obvious from the moment you hold them. These are boots that will age and patina beautifully.

High quality boots!

solid goodyear welt construction; meticulously crafted upper; gorgeous style (redwing mocs are might be my preference if i were a plumbing contractor, but in fact the style of these is for me, ideal; likewise, the choice of moderately lugged outsole). Finally, the leather seems first rate as well.

Wow. This is the first review I've written. These boots, right out of the box, are great! Not even with initial breaking in period, felt great. I walked in the apartment then outside. All good. I've got feet problems like plantar fasciitis and other things. I have sent back to pairs of Keen boots. Frye is always the one. Do not hesitate on these boots. I only wish I could get them in each color! I put my orthotic inside and I honestly felt two inches taller! Also, I'm a nonbinary person who wears mostly women's shoes. It is wonderful that these men's boots fit! So, for the nonbinary and trans men out there -- get out your credit cards!

Very well made boot! Great looking, will need a few wears to break in, solid construction.
