Fit terribly. hard to get on and very uncomfortable in the back of the heel. had to return.

I own a pair of Frye Melissa tall boots and love them so I was hopeful that this bootie would be my answer to every day use. Unfortunately I need a shoe horn to put them on. I was looking for something that was easier to slip in and out of. Beautiful quality boot hated to return.

I wear a 7.5 and they fit great. I have six pair of Fyre boots and I love the looks. I wanted more of a distressed look and they did have that look. Will keep ordering from Zappos. Very fast service and easy return.

Beautiful style - will go with everything. High quality leather and construction. I am going to have to size up or go wide with this boot, felt 1/2-size small.

Simply gorgeous boots! Yes, they did flop a bit in the beginning. I wore them for a total of 3 hours this passed weekend, and by the end of the day they didn't flop anymore. They seemed to mold to my feet. Frye boots never let you down. The leather is soft, but not too soft to slouch. The soles don't leave scuff marks on your floors. Which is big!

Beautiful boots, but you do need to break in, the black leathers ones. These were little stiff for me.

These are great! I got my normal size, 8.5. At first, I tried to put just one on and thought there was no way my foot was going to slip into them and they would have to be returned for a 9. I didn't even take the second one out of the box. The next morning, I thought I'd try again with a very thin sock and with some force they slipped on and felt good. I wore them all day to work the and was very comfortable - they didn't feel tight at all. That night they slipped right off and the next time I put them on with a thicker sock they were much easier to put on. I still need to pull them on (day 3 of wearing them) but it's definitely not a struggle and gets easier every time. Glad I kept them!

The Frye Veronica Bootie is a good looking pair of boots. I ordered the pair in camel with the embossing and darkened round toe. They have that wonderful new leather smell that I love! I am usually a size 9m in boots and these fit well. The buckle is adjustable and I found that to be helpful.

These boots were just what I was looking for in style and size. I was surprised that they were made in India because the picture on the Zappos web site showed they were made in Mexico where all my Frye boots have been made. The quality is still the same and I will be enjoying these boots for a long time.

The size 8.5 is good, I am normally an 8.5 or 9. In this style the 9 was too big. I love the style they are exactly what I was looking for!

I love these boots. They’re beautiful and well crafted. I have a wide heel so I’m super happy with the boots’ ample space, which extends into the toe- my foot does not feel at all cramped inside. Con- inadequate arch support so I’ve swapped the insole for a Birkenstock replacement. I feel like I could walk all day and not have any problems or develop a blister (which I get easily). Nice to wear something stylish and feel so comfortable.

LOVE THESE BOOTS!!! Sooo trendy and the black is distressed so it is perfect for anything!!! I’m usually a true size 8 but I had to send the 8 back and exchanged for a 7 which is perfect!!!! I have fairly narrow feet and the width is great for me but could be narrow for others.... LOVE!

Literally the coolest looking motorcycle boots, but unless you have a narrow foot don’t bother. In Frye I’m usually an 8, occasionally an 8.5, but got these in a 7.5 and they fit me perfectly. No heel slippage. They will fit VERY tight at first, but after one wear they are perfect.

I love all Frye products. The shoes take some time to break in but are beautiful. His color is perfect.

I’ve ordered these twice now and returned twice. Why? Because once Frye started outsourcing production, it’s product became inconsistent in size. In Mexico boots, I take a 7 to a 7.5 even though my shoe size is a 6.5. These are made in India and run larger so I don’t know if I should get a 6 or 6.5, or give up. Too bad. They are stylish and what I needed to walk my dog. Unfortunately, the two pairs I ordered fit like clown shoes. I’d recommend starting with your regular shoe size and going down from there.

I liked the redwood color but I didn’t like how thick the sole was. They were very clunky. I wanted a short boot that was versatile and low profile. Something that was simple and cool. These were more like a pair of dr martens. Chunky and heavy. Returned them.

As I have read the heel slips. But I read an awesome review of the heel slippage that I plan on keeping the boots because I am so in love with the style. Also, I own about six pair of Frye and love them all. Until I try them I am only giving three stars for comfort. That will hopefully change once I wear them.

The boots are very comfortable and I like the heel height.

The leather was not as soft on this bootie, making it harder for me to pull on. It's just too stiff to be comfortable on my foot. I don't want to have to pull like crazy to put on a bootie.

I love Frye boots but the zippers on these boots are nuts--so hard to zip. I'm not going to kill my hands and fingers trying to wear these boots. Too bad. It's a great boot.

Really narrow in the toe box and yet slipping a lot in the heels. Wanted to love these... saved for a while and ordered but ultimately don't like them enough to keep them.

The foot was really tight but my heel slipped. Don’t think a smaller size would work. I really thought i would love these! Disappointed

PROs - these are super cute, and the leather smells soooo good. I have other Frye boots, and I know these will last for years. They look great with jeans, and I would also wear them with leggings, shorts, or dresses. (And probably will, since I have to keep them now.) CONs - They are just TOO darn tight across the top/front of my foot, as if Frye didn't use enough leather... kind of like a tube that is the right length, but not big enough in diameter. I have been trying to break them in, wearing them almost daily for at least a couple of hours (and sometimes all day), for TWO weeks! I even wet them down and put in professional shoe stretchers, which didn't make much of a difference. I can and will wear them - either with knee-hi hose or no stockings at all - but any thicker socks than that are out of the question. I'm super-bummed - I LOVE Frye and am SO disappointed in these. I knew there would be a break-in period, but this is ridiculous. They SHOULD be much better-fitting by now, but they aren't, and I don't have high hopes. I even ordered the taller Veronica in a size up, just for comparison, and those fit the same way, so I sent them back. If you have a super-skinny/narrow foot, you won't be comfortable in these either, because the heel will slip too much! Keep looking :-(
