I loved the look and color of these boots, but could not wear them. Instantly painful over the top of my foot, and my heel slipped when I stepped. I really wanted these beautiful boots to work, but I am sending them back.

I have loved these boots for a long time and finally bought them. I have other Frye boots and the fit is about the same but I am able to use an insert in those. The length was ok but the heel is very wide and even with an insert, my heel slipped so much I was sure to get blisters. Other reviewers stated this but I just had to try them for myself. Unfortunately I had to return them.

Really hoped to keep this boot, however my heal consistently slipped with each step.

Not a comfortable fit for me. My foot kept sliding. But the style is super cute! Bummed they didn’t work for me.

I wanted to love these boots but alas I did not. Really there is nothing wrong with the boot itself..beautiful craftsmanship and quality. I didn't care for the style. The round toe made these boots look like a duck bill. I prefer square toe. So back they go. :(

I did not like the unstructured (floppy) loose cuff around the ankle, love Frye, not this one.

I'm a solid 10M in every shoe brand, including boots. These were TINY. I couldn't even get my foot into the footbed, they felt like an 8. Super bummed because they're beautiful boots but they don't come in the size I think I'd need.

For this style of boot I would want the width of the boot to match the top. They are way too narrow and they don’t look right. They’re also much smaller than my other Frye boots.

I'm a solid size 9 and, if it weren't for the width of my feet, I think this boot would have fit. It's very long in the toe and is very narrow. If you have a narrow foot, should fit fine. If you have anything other than narrow, be prepared for a tighter fit. They were so tight and uncomfortable for me (across the foot and at the heel) that I couldn't even hold out for the "breaking in" period. It's a shame I have to return them, the boots are gorgeous.

I have MANY pairs of Frye Boots, but this style has really changed. I ordered the same size I usually do, but they are minimally two sizes too big. Quality seems the same, but the sizing is WAY off. Would order again in a smaller size, but I ordered another pair in a different color,, and they fit, but the heel is whacko - it curves in. My boots from several years back do not.

I did not like this bootie and I returned them. I wear a 10 and ordered a 10, and they were pretty big. They basically slipped right off. This boot is also very bulky, which doesn't suit the purpose for my purchase, as I was hoping to find a durable, low heel, casual boot for office work. The style is way too casual, and more appropriate for a dive bar, certainly not a professional look.

I wear a 9, bought a 9.5, wasn’t even close to big enough. ?

I returned these due to the actual color of the boot. The picture shows a distressed brown, however when the boots arrived they were a solid dark brown, no distressing.

I wear an 8.5 in boots (8 in sandals) and this one squeezed my toes just enough for me to send them back. I'm not a wide foot, but I like shoes with a tad boxy area for toes and these do not have that. They were also extremely difficult to put on, which I knew from reading other reviews, but didn't realize how annoying that really is. I walked around the house all day and I don't have the patience to wear an expensive shoe in prior to taking outside. Returned for a pair of Taos boots that I love.

bought my usual size in Frye and way too big :( also weird since I have the exact same style in black and they fit great... but Redwood was a completely different shoe as far as fit.

This boot is beautiful. I ordered the Stone and I really liked the brown tone. Style was perfect. However, the comfort was disappointing. While the toe box area seemed appropriately sized the heel area was not. I am a true size 10 and ordered a 10. The heel was so wide that I slipped up and down and side to side even though I have a normal width foot. I did not think socks could solve the problem because the toe area fit perfectly.

Gorgeous, unique, & fun, BUT the fit was really off. The boots slip in the heel like a flip flop! They're going back:(

These shoes look beautiful, but the sole is so inflexible that I was stepping out of even the pair that was too small.

Such a beautiful boot. Soft leather and great color! There was way too much slippage in the heel to make this work, even allowing for a bit of slippage which is necessary for a boot cut. Otherwise, I would have loved to keep it. They need to go back. I am still hoping to find a Frye boot which works for small feet.

I wear 8.5 in almost everything. I read the reviews but ordered the 8.5 anyways. Way too big.. I tried to fasten the buckle tighter but still flopping off the heels. Love the boot style, however, with the slippage, I had to return

I NEVER return anything...I wear 8.5-but this shoe is way too big...i even adjusted the buckles as described in other reviews..still floppy..

The boot is beautiful and very well made but much to narrow for my feet. I sent them back.
