These booties feel like they were custom made for my feet. Intsantly comfortable! I needed both the Gore Tex lining, and the aggressive tread on the sole; I live in the Pacific Northwest where the grass is wet almost all winter, and surfaces like decks and walkways tend to get slippery from the constant moisture, which gets slimy. I need to keep my feet dry, and even more important, avoid falling. And I really like the clean, uncluttered leather design; very classy. Investing in a solid, well built, safe shoe is an investment in health and well being, especially during the “Golden” years. I just ordered another pair, because I want to enjoy walking in these for a long, long time!

I really liked everything about these boots, the style, comfort.....only problem for me was getting them on. With no zipper was difficult with my arthritic hands.

In most Ecco shoes my size is 40. However, these boots run small so I reordered up a size to 41.They are very comfortable with good traction and stylish too. I’m completely happy with my purchase.

I love these boots as far as style and comfort. Since the weather is still very warm I can't yet comment on how they'll feel after wearing them for awhile outside. I was looking for a water resistant leather boot for early Spring, Autumn and warmer Winter days when I don't want to wear my clunky snow boots and these fit the bill perfectly. I've worn Ecco for years and usually can count on them to be comfortable and wide enough for my feet which have bunions. I have noticed that lately Ecco's are tending to be a bit long, but aside from making my feet look bigger than they are (not ideal) it doesn't seem to affect comfort or fit. So far I am very happy with this purchase.

Eccos come with removable insoles, which make the shoes feel a bit tighter than normal, however if you remove them, they're true to size. I left the insoles in, and they felt a bit tight, but after a few minutes of walking around, felt great. Would recommend as a good everyday waterproof winter option, without looking like you have snow boots on. Prepared for Chicago winter!

I love Ecco shoes and wear them all the time. These are beautiful boots. They seem very well made. However I couldn't even get my feet into them. There are no zippers and the fabric part is not stretchy enough. I wear size 6 shoes and have small ankles. I am returning them without being able to try them on.

I love these boots! They are very comfortable and supportive. I wasn't convinced they'd be truly waterproof, but so far it seems that they are! I even wore them in the snow and my feet stay dry (until I slid off my sled and the boots filled with snow--not the boot's fault!) I like the simple look, too. Easy to slide on and go.

Fits great, feels light, has soft leather, it’s a comfortable insulated walking shoes with arch support. Great that it’s waterproof too! Order a half size up if you want to wear thick socks.

Other reviewers said that this boot was very difficult to put on - I did not find that to be true- it has a loop in the back that is very helpful and I was able to pull it on very easily and they are very comfortable!

Absolutely love these--immediately comfortable, very stylish, and waterproof too. It's been cold and rainy so I have worn them to walk the dog and on errands. I wore them on a work retreat and multiple stylish coworkers asked me about them!

I just received these boots in the mail today.. as soon as I put them on, I loved them! So comfortable and stylish! I typically wear a size 7 in boots. I ordered these in 38- the fit is perfect. Often I have trouble with heel slippage in shoes- these did not slip at all. I know I’ll get much use out of these for years to come. Thank you Zappos for the best customer service as always!!

These are cute and waterproof and I thought that the gray side gore on the shoe would be elastic and the boots would be easy to pull on and off. Instead there is very little give in the sides and pulling the shoes on was almost impossible. I got two sizes to make sure one of them would fit - but I had way too much trouble pulling them on and so am returning. Too bad - I liked them.

These boots fir if I put on two pairs of socks but I need to do that often, boots are tricky with narrow feet. And they were lightweight which I liked but not the right style for me. Why do so many shoes have the toes go up at the end? I know how to walk without this feature and dislike the way it looks.

What a disappointment! Like the other writer who wears a size 6, I could not get the boot on. There was no stretch at all. Maybe a shorter foot means you don't have as much to slip in. I own 15 pairs of ecco shoes and boots and size 36 fits perfectly--except for these. I sent them back without being able to even try them on.

Love these shoes!!! True to size, comfort is great. Only down fall, they are to narrow in the toe area for me, therefore I had to return them. I have a pair of Ecco booties that I wear everywhere is why I tried these, just wish they weren’t so narrow.

Love these boots. I have a pair of Ecco low cut sneakers, and love them too. When I wanted to replace an old pair of B-stone Chelsea boots, I found these and like them better. Love the fit, just right. Supportive but not tight and they look snappy.

Very narrow toe box.

Excellent material and style. Very sturdy. Weird fit, though. I normally wear an 8 and had to get a 10-10.5 to fit properly. Very narrow at the center of the foot.

I love my new kicks!! Comfy and fashionable. I'm certain they are going to be a staple in my fall/winter wardrobe.

Beautiful bootie, nice cushioning for tender feet. Heel may be too loose, and I may be between sizes: I measure 6 to 6.5 wide and the 37 was too loose, the 36 may be too tight. But overall a nice, light well-cushioned and supportive shoe, if it fits you. The Goretex waterproof-yet-breathable feature is nice. I bet this would be a nice travel shoe, especially because it's so light and easy to pack. But haven't lived with it long enough to assess.

I absolutely love these shoes/boots. They are very waterproof and have good traction. A plus is the sole does not carry tons of dirt into the house as some with good traction do.

Super great for standing and walking around in all day! Like a cloud....

I was worried because I read a review that said you need a shoe horn to get them on. I do use a shoe horn but was worried they would be very tight at the top. I find these shoes easy to get on and fit like a glove. The sole gives me traction on ice and also is giving me some cushion. These shoes are fantastic!
