These were perfect to wear over my son's leg braces. We removed the arch insert and they fit perfectly. It was such a relief to find these shoes!

These shoes are so great!!! They fit over my daughters AFOs- I just loosened the laces and they work great. She looks so good with regular tennis shoes instead of always wearing crocks. I adore them

These are really cool! They zip around the top of the foot, which can be a bit tricky on the curve, for kids still new to zippers, but you don't have to unzip them all the way to get the foot in and out. Opening them all the way initially really helped me see how well this shoe fit my kid's foot. Having the laces at the same time may seem silly, but it does make tightening up or loosening the fit possible.

My son can put his Billy shoes on all by himself !! He is happy and so am I. Shoes are very durable! Holding up well! Great buy!

Recently purchased for my son who is new to AFO's after serial casting. I purchased 2 sizes to try when they were fitting his AFOs and the larger of the 2 worked. The shoe is wider by design and the zippers and canvas have made the shoe easy to wear in/stretch. Taking shoes off and putting them on quickly was important and the Billys make that easy. We have an indoor pair and outside pair. These shoes are great and make this chapter a little easier for all of us!

I bought these for my 6 year old son and he LOVES them. He took them out of the box as soon as we received them. They are nice looking deck shoes. His favorite part is that while he can tie the shoelaces, once tied he can get them on and off by simply using the zipper-cool design!

Best shoes ever! Brilliant design. Great for wide feet. Cant' wait for this company to launch the adult line in August 2019.

This is the best idea I've come across so far for my son that requires a brace to walk. I just wish this company made them in bigger sizes. I ordered the biggest size available but it was too small. Otherwise these shoes would have been fabulous!

Ordered these for my 17-year old daughter who is non-ambulatory and wears AFO's (ankle-foot orthotics) we LOVE them!! Very easy to get on and off and they look more age-appropriate than other styles that fit over AFO's. She won't outgrow them or wear them out :-)

LOVE THESE! We bought two pairs the Classic low and the high tops. May daughter is 10 has small feet and wears AFO's. She is incredibly independent but putting shoes on over her AFO's were always a problem. We usually buy Chuck Taylors or Sketchers and they fit but it takes me and a crowbar sometimes to get them on. She loves having fun, funky shoes that aren't big and bulky. These are a dream! She loves them. Please please stock more!

Wanted to love these. They are cute and look a lot like vans. Unfortunately, my son's heel kept slipping out of the shoe when he walked. The nice thing is you can look inside and know if they are the correct size! They were true to size and plenty wide enough. Where were these when my son had ASO orthotics! He wears regular in-shoe orthotics now and while they fit nicely inside, his heal was just too narrow to work with the shoe.

Very Comfy and easy to put on. Love them!

I initially bought these in my sons normal size and they were huge. Exchanged for a whole size smaller and they fit, though even then there was a little extra room. I was so sick of trying to get shoes on my sons feet in the morning and these were the perfect solution. He puts them on now with no help from me and no fighting. The kids think the zipper is awesome.

I wish Billy's would make these zip shoes with a taller instep. A lot of people wearing the zip up shoes are also wearing leg braces which makes it bulky and harder to get zipped.

I bought these for my son with AFOs, and with loosening the laces, they did work for him. He has extremely narrrow feet, which may have helped--these shoes are tighter than the High tops. Otherwise, nice looking and solid sneakers!

These are absolutely adorable but had to send them back. The material isn't as forgiving as the canvas meaning it can not stretch over the Carbon Fiber AFO which is unfortunately.

My 10-year old loved the idea of zipping on and off his shoes. They really are so cool! They fit great too. But we’ve had them for 3 months now and the footbed are completely worn down to the rubber on the inside :( Still can be worn but that was disappointing that they’re not more durable on the inside.

I bought these for my son that wears an AFO. It wouldn't even zip half way with his AFO on.

I was so excited to get these for my disabled daughter. She has to wear a brace on one foot and it has been difficult to find shoes that fit over the brace. I was very disappointed when the shoe wouldn't zip on the braced foot. Back to square one with finding an adaptable shoe.
