Our daughter is 9 and has CP and in a wheelchair. She wears AFO's all the time, and before we found Billy shoes we struggled to find shoes that fit, were easy on and off, and still looked nice. These fit the bill for all those! She gets so many compliments on her shoes and everyone says they wish they had shoes like hers. Since she doesn't walk, I can't say how good they wear under normal conditions, but she has worn the pair she has now for almost a year and they still look awesome. Her para's at school were so excited when we got these because the shoes she had before these, they had to stuff her foot with the AFO on into the shoe and they were always worried about hurting her. These shoes have made life so much easier for all those that take care of her, all the while she's stylin!!!

loved previous purchase of cozy boots but returned because wouldn't zip over braces. current order were to replace boots but material is too thin to use for boots. looking forward to boots with wider ankle for braces joint. Low cuts are adorable and work wonderfully

My daughter loves them so we will be buying another pair. They are super cute, fit true to size and are very easy to get on and off.

My son loves these! He plops his foot in and zips them up, and is super proud to head out into the world with shoes he can do, quickly, himself. Also, with school comin up, these are gonna make getting dressed in the mornings so much easier!

I am an incomplete quadriplegic and have limited use of my hands. I love the ease of the zipper. I normally wear a women's 7-7.5 and got a kid's 6. They are a bit long but do the trick. Women's shoes are often too narrow as my feet tend to swell during the day, but these accommodate that and allow me to tighten enough that the heels don't slip. I now have 2 pair.

Perfect for AFOs

I absolutely LOVE these shoes!! You guys are the best!! Fast service and such a great price. I am so glad someone finally made shoes that can fit my son and his braces. Will NEVER go anywhere else to get his shoes.

I have owned a pair of these shoes for the last 4 1/2 months. So far they show little wear for the amount of PT and walking that I have been doing with them. I am very impressed and am excited for my next pair.

My granddaughter loves these shoes. She has CP and wears AFOs so it is impossible to find shoes to fit over them but these are perfect. They are stylish and well made. The sizing is a bit tricky so you have to really pay attention to the sizing charts. I did have a question so I emailed Billy shoes and they answered within one day. The price is decent enough to be able to afford more than one pair. Very happy with my purchase and will order again. Note to Canadian customers; if you need to return the shoes (the first pair we ordered were too small), you have to pay shipping to send them back. That will cost you about another $25.00

My son has Down syndrome, and can now remove his own shoes. These shoes are great for those with fine motor challenges. Also, my boy wears orthotics, and these shoes WORK. They can be loosened to fit over the braces so that they fit without the daily struggle of forcing a braced foot into a shoe. THANK YOU Billy shoes. I wish you made these shoes in adult sizes for those adults that have challenges!

My son loves them! He’s independent putting them on which he loves! Gives him ankle support! And I must say the staff that has helped me order shoes for my son has been AWESOME!! These shoes fit perfect over my daughters AFO's. She says they are super comfortable, not to me toons super cute. We will definitely be buying again. Thank you BILLY footwear for creating these for kids like mine.

Awesome shoes. I will definitely buy another pair! I can wear my inserts without removing the insoles which I have never been able to do in any other shoes. I can also where my lace up braces with them. The high tops give me extra ankle support without the hassel of lacing up high tops. I just zip them on and I'm good to go! I love them!

These shoes are awesome! I was able to fit my inserts without removing the insoles which I have never been able to do in any shoes I have bought. I am also able to wear my lace up ankle braces with them so I have the support of the brace and the support of the high top. Extremely easy on and off with zipper! I wear a womens size 7/12 with my inserts so I ordered big kids size 6 and they fit perfectly. I just got out of 3 months wearing 3 casts and a boot so these are a real blessing!! Every other shoe I tried left me in pain. I will DEFINITELY buy again!

A Godsend for our son who wears AFO’s and they didn’t break the bank.

I bought these shoes for my daughter and simply put, she loves them. And I love them too! Why? Well, because getting out the door in the morning is now always a success. No more pleading with her to get her shoes on to catch the bus. She takes initiative now and does it before I ask. Such a victory. Love this brand.

True to size. Great style. After several months of looking for a shoe that would support my sons AFOs we came across this shoe. They support his afos beautifully and my son is excited to wear such a stylish and comfortable shoe. Shoes like this are hard to come by and finding something that will fit an Afo can be extremely difficult. We are so happy that we came across this shoe and brand. We no longer have to struggle to fit his afos and he has plenty of wiggle room to feel comfortable yet supported

We had to order a size 12 in the high top, as opposed to the size 11 in the low rise shoe. The 11 high top was tight, whereas the 11 low rise was roomy enough for heavy socks.

I bought these in hopes they would fit over my granddaughter AFOs. Even tho they are marked as medium width (I really wish they would make at least a wide!) they did fit over her AFOs. The reviews were pro and con about fitting over AFOs so I wasn't sure but due to the fact that they also have laces, I was able to loosen them even more and the fit was great. These should give her independence in putting on her own shoes. I plan to order others, maybe in a low top.

A denim material. My girly daughter loves these even though we got green. She goes everywhere showing everybody her cool shoes. I love how easy they are for her to put on and remove over her AFOs even with her hypotonia and severely hypermobile fingers.

Very pleased, indeed. I simply love what this brand stands for and am inspired by everything they are doing. Not to mention the shoes fit my kiddo and he loves them, which is the biggest bonus! Thank you, BILLY Footwear, for making it easier to get our son out the door in the mornings hassle free. We no longer have to plead with him to tie his shoes. Serenity has arrived.
