I ordered Nunn Bush Chelsea Boot in 10 W with my first order. They are good quality and fit fine. The shaft is narrow so you have to work to get them on if you have high arches. It's interesting that a W in this brand fits my wide foot when I've had to return New Balance 2E, Propet 3E, and Drew in 4E as too narrow. I've reordered Drew in 6E and they should fit.

They ran bigger than I expected and I was tempted to return them. But I wear an orthotic on all my shoes and when I put the orthotic in over the flimsy little liner that was already there, they fit perfectly. I would say at least 1/2 size off.

Overall a nice boot, but looks more like a 'boot' when wearing than some other Chelsea boots do - some have more of a 'dress shoe' look to them. I also ordered a half-size down from my usual and that was accurate, but this boot runs a bit narrow and I would not have liked it for long-term wear. Great sole too.

To be honest, I found these boots because I was looking for my "Beatles Boots" for when I'm playing bass w/ my rock band. I asked my wife, the resident shoe specialist, about Nunn Bush, and she said that they make great shoes. After reading all the reviews saying that they run large, I opted to order 10 1/2 instead of my usual 11...thinking that I'd have to return them most likely as people were saying to go a full size down. To my surprise, they fit perfectly. I wore them all day on my feet teaching middle school (they look great with jeans and a sports coat), and felt great w/ no break in time.

I haven't actually wore them, just trying them on, the felt great, they do run a little bit larger. I got a half size smaller than I normally wear. And they seem fine. The weather here in northern Indiana has been horrible so I don't want to get salt all over them. Hoping they will be comfortable.

Good looking boot for the money. Fairly comfortable and look great dressed up or down, dress pants, khakis, and jeans. Appear to be well made.

These appear to be well made boots and a good value. I returned them however because they look like boots - I'm looking for a chelsea that looks like a shoe boot mix.

For the money this is a great boot. As far as how they run size wise? Shoe manufacturers today all seem to run differently. I own shoes from size 8 to size 10. I tried these first in a size 9 1/2 and they were too big. I then tried them in a size 9 and they felt very comfortable but I wasn't sure if they might still be a little large so I ordered a 8 1/2 to try and they felt too snug across the width so I settled on the size 9's. With Zappos easy free return policy it was no problem returning the ones that didn't fit. The boot looks 3X more expensive then they are. I choose the rust color, a rich brown. In my opinion a very handsome boot.

Great looking boot at a great price and of course you just cant beat Zappos customer service and super fast shipping. As far as size goes, it hard to say now a days if they run "true to size". It seems every manufacturer uses a different "last" for their shoes. I have shoes that run from size 8, 8 1/2, 9, 91/2 and a pair of 10's. I first ordered these in a 9/12 and they were too big, I retuned them for a 9 and they felt very comfortable but wasn't sure if they were still a little big so I ordered a 8 1/2 and the 8 1/2 were pretty tight width wise so I am keeping the size 9. Not a problem ordering all these sizes since Zappos makes it so easy to return them and they credit your account as soon as they are picked up and scanned by the UPS driver.

Quality shoe. Comfortable and stylish. Looks good, but can still wear all day. Keeps the elements out, but not too warm.

My feet are size 16. Sometimes I can squeeze into 15's so I ordered these in 15 because reviews said these run large. Well, they run VERY large. My feet were shifting all around in size 15. I returned them and order a size smaller. Size 14 fit my size 16 feet perfectly. Go figure. Other than the sizing issue, I am very happy with these boots. I bought them for horseback riding but they can be worn anywhere, dressed up or down.

The boots felt a little narrow the first few times I wore them, but I think once they've broken in they fit fine. They are comfortable and stylish, but a little roomy in the toe area.

Was looking for a boot to wear on construction sites. Doesn’t seem like it would hold up as even a light duty boot

The shoes are well-made and comfortable, but they are HUGE while their openings are a bit small. My regular size-7.5M is too long and too wide like size 8.5WW. Size 7M is still too large; there is 1 in gap in length between my toe and the shoe, and it's hard to put on. I gave up.

I am a female, size 39 EU, and I could not even get these on. Yes, I have high arches but... seemed too small and too narrow. Look like good craftmanship but also don't look as comfortable as I expected (in a cushioned walking way). Sending back.

I should've listened to everybody else. My reasoning: "my correct size is always a little bit small so maybe if these fit big they'll be perfect for me." Don't do that.

As others have said they run big, meaning I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 depending on the shoe and after reading other reviews bought a 9, still too long. An 8.5 would have been better but they only come in wide in 9's and above, so no boots for me! Had to return them. Feel in the different boots was also inconsistant, the feel of the left boot seemed higher than the right. They are good looking boots and as I said I did try to exchange them for a smaller size, but no luck. So try them out, they may be fine for you, just maybe order a smaller size than you usually wear.

Too small

God, these were large. I wear a 10 in every shoe but I felt that I could have gotten both my feet in each shoe. Which would make it awkward to walk...

Horrible! These hurt my feet when I'm sitting down! And I can't believe they have any kind of "walking comfort technology". I have other Nunn & Bush boots that fit and feel great. Very disappointed. And I can tell by the packaging, they've been returned before, so it's not just me.They do look great, though. Too bad. Just an aside;(and this is not Zappos fault) but why is there no standardization with sizing. Why should we have to rate the size, width, etc? Every size 10 should be exactly the same, every EE, the same. It's the same with clothes. I can try on 3 pairs of jeans, same brand, same style, same rack, they all fit differently. Whew! Feels good to vent.......

The fit was good, and the look was just right. After ordering two different pairs, it's clear that the redesign of this shoe is a bad one. I think it's the new sole. Both pairs seem to introduce painful pressure points that seem to be translated through the rubber 'cleat' pattern. Both pairs are going back.

These shoes have very bad ventilation. I rarely wear them but they stink. They are my only shoes that do this.
