Birkenstock's instructions (and other tips I found online) were a little confusing. I have a size 10 foot that's flat and skinny, but I have worn 10B (not narrow) for several years. When ordering European sizes, size 41 always fits well. But since I ordered the narrow width for these shoes, they seemed a tad too short. My toes came right up to the ledge, which I read was not ideal. Plus, I thought the huge buckles did not look attractive on my feet. Maybe on a shorter, wider foot they would. So I have returned them for the traditionally buckled Birks in a 42 narrow (which fit great).

I like the Sandal. You can buy the narrow if you have a wider foot. I have a wider foot and the narrow fits just fine. Just having a problem with the color cognac.

I am a true 8 1/2, and these were too short. I am ordering the next size up.

The fit and comfort are perfect. They’re very cute! Chunky but not clunky. I’ve been a huge fan of Birkenstock’s since I found my first pair in 1984. Love them!

Loved them but they were two distinctly different colors of brown.

I am one of those people with an average - narrow foot width and these are perfect. The regular Birkinstocks always feel a bit wider/heavier in look on my foot. These are a dream. I have the buckles on the tightest/second tightest I can put them.... so if you have an average width foot there is certainly room to work with. The style is really cool... a little funky with a whole lot of comfort.

I gave these to my mom as a gift. She loves them but the buckle hurts the top of her foot.

Super cute. I got the narrow by mistake, but honestly they aren’t narrow at all. I would say they fit an average width perfectly. Plus the buckles adjust. I needed them all the way snug and I don’t even have a narrow foot. It if u have wider foot, u could loosen it. Im a 6/6.5 in sandals and got the 37. These are slightly big but could work. I’m going to try the 36 and compare.

There was absolutely no break in time required. With the ability to adjust the two buckles I was able to make the fit perfect and these shoes are so comfortable and good looking. I didn't care for the man made leather so sent them back and replaced with the leather and I love them. I think the others would have been fine if I would have given them a chance but Zappos was so gracious in processing my exchange and now I am again a happy customer. I have always been happy with Zappos.

I love Birkenstocks but am picky because I don’t like how the suede ones don’t stay on my feet so I wanted a leather pair that wouldn’t give me that Issue and these are perfect! They fit perfect and are just what I need in time for Disneyworld (assuming they will be open in a July).

These are so cute! They take a while to break in, but are adorable on.

Fit is spot on. I really love the updated buckle. Fun to have a fresh look to my favorite sandals.

They are stiffer than other Birks I've worn, but that speaks to quality, I think. They should last longer. They look great, but won't walk through a metal detector!

I have been a fan of Birkenstocks for a long time- so this big buckle style is a great addition to my collection. The oiled leather was a little stiff at first but has softened and now feels great--I wore them in the house 3-4 days to speed up the softening. The larger buckle looks great for the Fall--especially with jeans- adds a bit of a "cooler weather" look with the added hardware! I have them in black and wear them almost everyday- they fit like all Birkenstocks-so once you find your size--go for it!

I was worried about the width but I ordered them anyway. I have wide feet, little snug at first but they feel fine after about a week. I love the big gold buckle, super cute!! I loved them so much that I ordered a pair in 3 colors!!

I love these! The color is perfect. No need to break in, super comfortable. The big buckle is a great added touch, and it is not plastic as some reviewers have mentioned. I'm tempted to order a second pair to have when these wear out.

LOVE THIS SHOE. I’m a Birkenstock fan to begin with I was nervous narrow wouldn’t fit my wide foot, (I usually buy regular width) but it was perfect. Love the color and style. So happy I finally decided to try if it would fit (given the price$$$ i was nervous). Birk fans will love it.

Got these for my granddaughter for her birthday and she is going off to college...they were perfect for her and she loves them. Thank you Zappos for always being prompt with delivery and such a good return policy. We don’t need it very often, but thankful for your help when it is needed.

I hesitate to describe a Birkenstock as dressy, but these oxblood beauties look really polished with their big metal buckles and beautiful patina. They are as comfortable as other Birks, but prettier. They fit true to size. I wore them to an all-day antiques market then out to dinner and they stayed really comfortable. I really like the wine-colored leather and footbed! I'm in sunny California, so an autumnal sandal is a great idea. Somebody said they squeak when you walk in the comments. Mine don't.

They are not as comfortable as my previous Arizona Birkenstock’s. I was going to return them but I loved the style so well that I kept them. They are now breaking in and the leather is more flexible so they are comfortable.

These were perfect!! Let me start by saying my feet are like rectangles lol I have free flintstone toes! I usually wear the Gizeh, and I ordered the Metallic Arizona in a reg width in my normal 36- they were HUUUUGE!! I always wanted these big buckles but they only came in narrow, I’m so glad I took a chance bc these are beyond beautiful I want to sleep in them! I know they are pricey but omg they’re so amazing and fit perfectly. I always wear black or armygreen so I got the burgundy. The footbed is also a leather much different than the normal Birk footbed. Gorgeous. If you’re on the fence, get them!! I might become one of those socks and birks people bc I dont just wanna wear these when it’s warm

Purchased this latest Big Buckle style in the Blue oiled color and love them! I am already a huge fan of the Arizona style in both the classic and soft footbeds, but find this Big Buckle style just a bit more appealing. And, this blue color is a deep rich cobalt blue color, which is enhanced with the brushed gold big buckles.

I had a smaller size that was sold to me at a department store and it never felt comfortable. Wore them for 1 1/2 years and decided to order another pair in 1 size up which is the correct size. Such a difference when you get the correct size! I just think the high end department store sold me those because they did not have my correct size in stock.
