Although 'Relaxed Fit' is printed allover the waistband, they are not relaxed fit and do not fit like the Dickies 11" Industrial Relaxed Fit Multi-Use Pocket Shorts #LR642, the model these are supposed to replace. Size 40 in the #LR642 was relaxed fit with plenty of room to move ! these in size 40 were too tight, moved up to 42. Now I had room to move but am forced to wear a belt, else they almost fall off me ! The fabric is comfortable and breaths ok but the lower side pocket lacks the snap closure of the #LR642 to keep items (knife) in place until needed.

Was really excited, then tried to get them on. I normally wear 33 or 34 relaxed in all brands. Got the 34 relaxed, well made, nice material, couldn't even get over my hips. Sadly had to send all the order back except the relaxed fit jeans that were also 34's that fit. Went to a store and tried a pair of loose fit and had to go all the way to 36 waist to get any room in the upper legs and then use a belt to pull in the waist. Guess i am just built funny for Dickies. love the jeans!

GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT EXCEPT .....ZIPPERS ARE ALWAYS BREAKING !

I ordered the wrong pair of shorts I ordered regular fit by mistake when I should've been ordering relaxed so there's not much room in the pocket due to them being tighter

The material and length of the shorts are great, there are just a few things I thought could change. The groin area is extremely tight when sitting down especially which is obviously uncomfortable. I also think the butt area could be a little roomier. I purposely buy bigger waist sizes trying to avoid these issues normally but they were still pretty snug in the areas I mentioned earlier.

The flex material is too much space at waist. Order a size lower.

Not really relaxed fit. Tight at the waist. Color fades.

These have to be the ugliest, ill fitted, most uncomfortable shorts I've ever bought. The search continues for a nice comfortable pair of work shorts.

These shorts are not my favorites. The clip closure comes undone easily, and the pockets are small.

I like the shorts but I'm having a problem with the zipper hanging up. It doesn't flow smoothly. I'm afraid it will come apart.

Great looking shorts -- durable fabric -- yet smooth and neat!! Nice style and cut with great color options. VERY PLEASED!!!

Good enough for the price but for me they are way too long. Hang down past my knees.

Pants fit okay but the waist-band folds over and exposes the white underside. You need a really wide belt. Also, Dickies beats you endlessly for a review, so taking off a star for that.

One pair fit the other I sent back. I've worn the same size waist forever. I bought two pairs of shorts and one fit great and the others I couldn't even fasten. I won't buy clothes online again.

Quality is not what I expect from dickies. Cheaply made.

Orderded 11" but recieved 13" can't get Dickies to make it right. They fit great but too long.

front legs has white abrasive mark on thread, fits well but apparently not inspected or maybe it was by Mr. Magoo will be returning

I ordered 3 pairs all size 38 two of the pairs where the right size and fit fine. The other pair said 38 but we're about 2 sizes too big but easy to return.

I have bought the flex shorts like these before but they removed the flex waste band now which is a negative for me. which these had the same as my other shorts they are much more comfortable

Fits ok, but 3 belt loops have already detached in back of shorts that I had to repair. Also had to reattach zipper on one pair. Disappointed. Cargos are definitely better made.

Definately will not replace LR642!!! If your a big guy dont buy them, They fit a little tighter than the LR642. The belt holes in the front are too wide apart seems like they are missing but that's how they are made. I ordered 6 of them and they are all the same. Definitely will not be buying more and Definitely taking them back.

I bought these because I needed new shorts. I'm a big guy so I truly appreciate flex fit pants and shorts. They fit but are way tighter than other brands I wear. As for flex. No where near the flex of other brands. I'm not sure I'll be purchasing anymore of these even though they were super affordable compared to other brands that I wear.

TOO MUCH CONFUSION WITH WAIST SIZES, NEEDS TO HAVE CONSISTENCY BETWEEN BRANDS AND PRODUCTS
