It's not in the description or images, but these are not button style. They are clasps like dress pants. In a work short this needs to be a button. A snug belt will undo the clasp as well as the constant twisting and turning on the job.

I really enjoy these shorts but a while back I think I bought four or five of the flex fit the ones that stretch at the waist those were really really nice I don't know why you discontinued them but I also have some friends that bought them also they can't figure out why they were discontinued also I wish she would bring them back

As expected, great work pants, just wish the color would last more than 1 year, only reason not 5 stars.

I like them except that I would prefer a longer fly.

Supposed to be relaxed fit but received regular fit, still works though not quite as loose as I would have like, excellent quality shorts. Dickies have always been my main go to for quality work and every day wear.

Thinner than I expected but tough. Cell phone pocket too low to be very useful. Flex is great feature for work.

Dickie's still rule but disappointed that the LR642 replacement comes with the clasp closure, not the button closure. Dickie's are still 2nd to none in work wear comfort, durability and value!!

So happy we could order these online. We hadn't been able to find them in stores. Only issue is that we ordered the same short, 2 different colors, and one pair was smaller than the other. Great quality short though! Thank you!!

The shorts were a great fit. I wish there was an option for getting a button instead of the metal clasp to hold the shorts closed.

Love the shorts however i orderd 3 pair size 34 and one pair fits like a 32 guess i will have to loose some weight.

I sent these 2 pair of shorts back to you guys because the 38" waist is to small. I will be purchasing 2 pair of the 40" now.

They are a great fit. Very comfortable and durable.

Well, I haven't worn these yet but I have tried them on, removed tags and washed. I do own 3 pair Dickie shorts very similar (cotton). Purchase first at big discount store then another pair at another time and am very impressed with them for work shorts. I love the phone pocket. Unfortunately, the colors are limited to work colors(?) I guess. So I ordered a non cotton material but very similar style because the color selection was better. We'll see if the non cotton material is to my heat dispersing requirements! I have worked in some of the hottest places in the world and nothing beats (lightweight) cotton!

Good fit but not true size. I used 874 pants regular fit 36 size but on this shorts my fit is 34. Beyond that they are good brand.

Great fit, just needed to be little thicker material

In June of 2020, we ordered, and received 3 pair of theses shorts. My husband loved them so much, he said to order more. I've been watching weekly for more to be available. Hope that option comes soon.

I have ordered before and I wish I would have remembered that I needed the 13". I ordered the 11" and it is too short for my purposes.

Work wear, i like dickies products. Waist a little low for me, other than that, smooth product my friends...... JSH

4 starts because nothing is perfect. My granddaughter and I both love these shorts. They just about the only ones we wear. Hoping to get some more in black and tan. Didn't have them in my size in my original order. Comfortable. Easy to care for. Look good too!

the front zipper seemed shorter than previous shorts i have purchased.

as i mentioned in the title, the back pockets are so narrow at the top that i can just barely get my own wallet out ! otherwise, the fit is fine (no inseam to worry about ) , the cut is fine (a straggle-y thread here and there ), sit down, stand up... what more do you want ? . . .

If there was a way to make the waistband more comfortable. After they are washed a few times that have gotten better. Over all though dickies are the only ones that can candle me. Good value good product.

I bought two pair in the past. Liked them so much that I bought two more. Just got the shorter ones because The others came over my knees.
