just a smidge narrow, Im sure they will stretch a bit as they break in. great matte finish.

I previously purchased a 1461 Core in Brown, and wanting one in black as well I selected this on. The added padding will be helpful as I stand much of the day and should wear better on the ankles at the back of the shoe. Looks great and fits well, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

The width was a little snug making it hard to walk the sole was comfortable

This shoe was too heavy for me

Needs half sizes. It's pretty difficult to walk in with how thick the sole is. Not ideal considering this is a work shoe.

I really like these shoes. My foot is between a 10-11, so the first try was an 11. Too big. Second try was the 10. Smooshed toes. I'll keep looking.

TLDR; Pros: pretty easy to break in, very stylish especially for work shoes Cons: the yellow stitching on the inside of the left shoe was messed up on both pairs I ordered as well as some small cuts in the rubber sole, sizing still feels a bit big even though I sized down About the sizing, I’m usually a 6.5 and I know that with dr martens you should size down a half size if you’re in between so I ordered a size 6 and the fit is okay. They feel slightly larger than my other size 6 dr martens but I know that if I went down one more size they would be too small. As far as the stitching goes, I returned the first pair I got because of the irregularity and when I received the second pair it had the same issue in the same spot (photos attached are of the second pair). They also came with small cuts in the sole where the stitching was messed up. I decided to keep the second pair because the issue wasn’t as bad as the first and I needed these shoes for a new job and didn’t have time to return them again. I will say that these were very easy to break in. It took about a day or 2 for the leather to loosen up around the sides of the foot but I didn’t have any issue with friction on the back of my heel, which I was really worried about. Overall, these shoes are good - not great. I love how stylish they look and how comfortable they are but at this price point, it might not be worth it if you receive irregularities in the stitching and sole like I did.

If you have narrow heels, low dr martens are just not for you. I wanted to love these but the fit was not good and my heel slips. These are by far the most supportive of the 1461s. I normally wear a women's 9 and 9.5 in boots and running shoes(like Nike) but needed a UK 6 in these.

The shoes are a lot clunkier than the photos and video lets on. They felt like boxes on my feet. Tight and right in some places, but at the heel it kept coming loose when I walked too quickly. They’re not a very good looking pair for petite wearers. The traction and slip resistance was really good, I tried it on my bathroom floor and it worked amazingly. Unfortunately I don’t want to be weighted down while I’m at work where I’m supposed to be constantly moving and fast.

Ugh, I really wanted these to work out! Unfortunately, they were much narrower than previous Docs (I have several pair), so I'm sending them back. As for the show itself - they look good, the inside feels comfortable, and they don't have the yellow stitch, which I needed for work. Seems like the recent orders of Doc have all had sizing issues.

I'm an 11.5 narrow to medium. With no half sizes this shoe is simply too long. It is also extremely heavy. I really wanted the original. But I settled for the better fitting and much lighter Dr. Scholl's model.

The quality of this shoe is questionable in comparison to other Dr Martens I own. Had to order twice and no luck with these. Please ad more models to the zappos at work catalog

They aren't comfortable still almost after a month, they feel loose. I wear an 8 usually so if I would to order another pair. I'd size down. I bought pads for the tongue & heel just to make them wearable.

Had to return these. They are a size too large, not comfortable to wear and made my feet look huge.
