I love these shoes, but do not consider them the "typical" Jambu. They are darling on and can be dressed up or down. I am a professional and they have become my go to for both skirts and pants. I agree with the other reviewers that the size of the the cross strap is a little off -- it gaps. When I pointed out the issue to someone who was complimenting me, she had not noticed at all so I think it is an issue perceived more by the wearer. When I write that it isn't the "typical" Jambu shoe, it is very comfortable but the souls feel flatter and harder than the normal Jambu shoe. I wear the shoes all day long without batting an eye, but given the lack of arch support if I have to do a lot of kneeling, I can guarantee that I will end up with foot cramping. This is such a severe problem that I have both colors :).

The fit on these is terrific. They are well made, internally supportive and have good grip on the bottoms. The heel height is subtle. The top straps are loose (as others have noted), but I actually think that was intentional. These are meant to be shoes for active walking, and a loose strap prevents chaffing and blisters. The straps are stretchy with a soft underside, and they just sit without any pulling or tugging (kind of like loose ballet slipper ribbons).

Tried four pairs and same problem with each, one or both shoes squeak and groan when walking, really upset because I love the style!

These shoes are just what I wanted...cute flats that aren’t too flat with interesting details to keep them from being boring. A great toe shape and elastic straps that fit added to the perfection. I love them. I got them in navy and stayed true to my regular size 8 1/2.

I am a 9M, these fit - true to size. I ordered them on a whim, because I had a problem finding dressy, but comfortable shoes to wear with evening pants. I did not expect these would fit, just ordered them. SO CUTE! They fit great and I am so happy I took the chance on them. Jambu makes a great comfort-style casual shoe and I ordered another style for casual wear. But these cute shoes look great with dressy pants or jeans. Love them!

Adorable shoes. I do have to return as the elastic ankle straps fit one ankle and the other it hangs. Wish they were adjustable.

Yes, the ribbons or ties are loose, but the shoes are heavenly. They are beyond comfortable and the color is a dark rich navy blue. I have flat feet and thin ankles. I purchased my regular size 9M. These is a bit of a heel, which is nice and they seem well made. Thank you Zappos!

These shoes are really comfortable and fit perfectly, except that the straps were too loose. My ankle is fairly slim, though not abnormally so (I am 5'4" 135 lbs), and I do not have a high arch, so that might have something to do with it. I will probably send them back because of that, although they are otherwise exactly what I wanted.

I love the look of this shoe - super cute. The ribbons are stretchy and a little loose across the instep so they don't cause any pain and as far as I'm concerned, they're really not needed for support. Just for looks. I would have kept them if there had been more room in the toe box - too pointed for my terrible feet. For someone with no issues like Morton's neuroma or long toes, they would be great.

These shoes are ADORABLE. I love them so much. I'm usually a 7.5 but ordered both a 7.5 and 8, and the 8 was the winner. They are slightly big on me in the ankle area, and rub just a little bit in the front, which most flats do for me. If they weren't as cute as they are I would've sent them back, but I love them so much I haven't sent them back yet. Also, they have much better support than any "true flat" and many other shoes of this nature, so I love that about it, too.

I’d read that someone thought this shoe ran small and ordered a 9 and 9.5 but the 9 was perfectly fine. It did run wide, though, and I don’t have a narrow foot. I still kept the shoes, though, because they’re cute and comfortable. I can see what others say about the straps being loose. I agree with the other reviewer that I think they are intended to be that way.

These run a bit small. I’m a solid 9 and went with the 9.5 and they fit well, if ever so slightly snug (hoping they will stretch a little bit as the 10 was way too big). Cute and stylish, though not quite as comfortable as my other shoes from this brand.

Very cute and agree that the straps are a little loose. I have a high arch, so the straps weren't so loose as to be bothersome, Unfortunately, these felt too short on me and I returned. I also read (not sure that it was on the Zappos site) that this had a removable insole. It probably is removable, but you will have to tear it out as it is partially glued in.

this is a pretty shoe, and the gray color goes with anything you can think of. However, the ankle strap is so loose that it just hangs there looking stupid.

I love, love, love these shoes! They are so comfortable right out of the box and are so cute on. I’ve been looking at these for a long time. I’m so glad that I finally got them.

Disappointed in the arch support. Other than that, love the style! can see wearing these with dressy and casual! and love Jambu! (and Zappos!)

Really beautiful shoe. Fits like a glove - thought the elastic straps are a bit loose on my skinny ankles. Will be great with dresses or pants!

These are gorgeous shoes and seem like they would be very comfortable. But alas, other reviewers were right, if your ankles are on the skinny side, these will not fit securely around the heel. Figured I'd give them a shot since they are pretty unique, but unfortunately will need to go back.

These shoes are so freaking cute on. Sorry to send them back due to the fact they don't fit well with my insoles. :-(
