Hated to send these back as the fit and workmanship where perfect. I own the Olive, which I love. Wanted another pair so I ordered the Garnet and from from the photos, description and reviews, color I though would be a reddish/purplish brownish. Received them and they are bright RED!!! In reading more reviews, some people also noted they are bright red. Tried to keep them, but they just don't make me feel good wearing them. I feel like a fireman in them and they make my feet look big and clownish. Sent back and ordered the black. They just arrived, and Black are not quite as well constructed and they are much tighter. Will have to think about whether to send Black back too. :-(

I like the style of this boot. It looks good with pants or with a dress/skirt and tights. However, it was not sufficiently comfortable for standing and walking all day while teaching. The boot contains an insole with a lot of arch support, but it was too much for me, especially since it didn't line up with the arch of my foot. I tried a different insole (from another shoe), but then there was not enough support. I usually wear a 7.5 (in Born boots, for example). The 7.5 in these was too small; the 8 fit well aside from the arch support issue.

This boot is really comfortable and cute. I have really high arches so the medium width was too tight across the top of my foot. The 8.5w fits but is just a touch wobbly. I bought them for a trip to NYC in winter so I am a little concerned about the suede in snow and rain but they are warm. Still deciding whether to keep them...

I normally wear a size 9. However when I tried the boot on in a store, I found the width to be a bit tight. I don’t buy shoes that have to be “broken in” and I also realize that shoe sizes, like clothing, can vary by manufacturer so I opted to try a 9.5 but the store didn’t have it. I turned to Zappos when I got home. When they were delivered the 9.5’s fit like a glove, the insole was very comfortable with good padding and attention to pressure points, and the Sandisole is flexible. Overall a very good boot for the price and I would recommend it.

I had my eyes on the olive suede color for months, so when these went on sale I grabbed them. I have bunions, so I ordered the wide and they fit well, although I would have appreciated even more toe room and a more snub-nosed toe look (like Keen used to have before they started trying to look like Clarks). My pinky toes rubbed a bit.(But take that with a grain of salt, because I've been told my feet are double-E width.) The foot bed is not cushy by any means, but there is a pronounced arch. So while they were comfortable enough for a day of sitting at my desk working, I was happy to take them off at the end of the day. I may try a squishier insert to see if that makes these more suitable for long walks. Last but not least, I highly recommend using a waterproofing spray to protect these. I carefully reviewed the weather report before wearing them, but that didn't stop me from getting a few drops of water on them when I shook my hands after washing them. Life hack: A Mr. Clean Dry Eraser did a great job removing the water spots.

Darling boot!!! Definitely runs a size too small however + would prefer a less “distressed” look.

I love these boots. I thought I might need the size 11, as my feet are 10.5 in running shoes and I wear thick socks for boots. Not so: my feet were awash in the 11’s even with boot socks.

I love Earth shoes, and was so hopeful with these! But, I ordered a narrow and they were still too wide. My heel kept pulling up and rubbing on the shoe, and I just knew there was no way I could wear these as my all day work boot:( They are super cute though, and I got the olive color, and it looks great in person. These would otherwise be great if they fit me.

These boots were incredibly comfortable and felt like they had decent support. I really wanted to keep them, but I also fell in love with the Earth Talus style and felt that boot would be a little more versatile for my needs since they were smooth leather instead of the suede of Beaufort. Wonderful boot, though, and the olive color was especially attractive.

I really like this style of boot. However my foot is just too narrow and the boot is a bit sloppy. Sadly, I will be returning. A regular width foot would wear this well.

I am not sure yet on this boot because of size. I usually wear a size 5 in Earth shoes and boots. I tried these on and walked around inside for a few minutes and they seem tight in the heel area. I am going to try them again inside before I return. I love the green color of this boot and the style. I am hoping I can keep them without having sore feet.

Very comfortable and cute boot but I returned because I didn’t like the way the boot toe turned up at the end. I like boots that make my size 10 foot look as small as possible and the turned up toe really didn’t do that. The olive color was really nice and it had some cool stitching on the side that made it look unique.

I bought this in 8.5 and 9 knowing that I usually fall between these sizes. As usual, the 8.5 was snug but the 9 was too large. I kept the 8.5 thinking that I would wear thinner socks, however I wasn't able to use my orthotics. After a few wearings the boots have stretched out and now are quite comfortable and I am able to insert my orthotics. So my advice is to keep in mind that these will stretch out and will become loose if you purchase too large. Other than that I find they look great with skinny jeans and also feel like they will be warm as well.

Fit was good but I ordinarily wear a c width, which I’m certain would have been too narrow in this shoe. I went up to the D (the only wide available in this shoe) based on the reviews and the fact that I wear heavier socks in fall and winter. Length was true, style and color very nice. I only wish the safe sturdy heel had been a little higher. My feet like a little more heel.

Love love love these boots! They are beautifully made and very high quality. I wish I could keep them, but they just don't feel right on my foot. They are too snug and the arch is too high making it uncomfortable. I am typically a size 8, narrow with moderately high arches.

Previously got the "Brook" in garnet & they fit well (8D) and was looking for another style of boot to wear (giving up on most shoes due to foot problems). Unusual to find a green color - got these in the olive - and they look great & fit well, again in 8D. Have some Uggs (outdoor styles) which I have in 8.5 which somehow fit me (they don't come in a wide width, which I need). At first I thought I had gotten a worn pair (these) because the heel & toe look like the suede is worn, but looking again at the photo here, I see that is how they are. My boots came with ALL the inserts, wrappings, etc. in a new box. So far happy with them (I did spray them with suede waterproofing an the color did not change).

The style and comfort of these boots is excellent and they run true to size. I ordered the garnet which is a beautiful bright cranberry color, but I was hoping that it would have been a darker color. Even so I would have kept them, but I had a zipper on one boot that kept sticking. Really hated to return them because the leather was so soft and the perfect height that I wanted. Thanks for Zappos excellent customer service.

I wear 10 w's and have issues with a flattening arch, pronating, plantar fasciitis, a pulled perineal tendon in one foot, and a healing bone spur in the other. I loved the look of the boot. Unfortunately, my toes felt too pushed and squished in the toe box. The search continues!

Love these EXCEPT for the worn look at toe and heel. Should they look like that? I'll do that myself soon enough!

Very comfy boot right out of the box. Easy on and off with the side zipper. They are a little on the shorter side which is fine but I prefer a taller boot. They could easily be dressed up or down. I really liked these but my fiance said they look like Peter Pan boots and I kind of know what he meant. It doesn't help that I got the red color which is a brighter cranberry color. Black might have been better. Although these were very comfortable I decided to go with a pair of Timberland Jayne's. Great boot though and a close second in my search to find the perfect boot.

The arch came up too high and I did not think I would get used to it. Its so stylish and the shade was beautiful. I wish it would have worked out.

Nice boots, not to sure about walking all day in these, the heel is harder than some of my other Earth brand booties! Will give them a try.

The 7W seemed true to size and it's more comfortable than most boots I've tried. I don't know if it's the just the way it's made, but the suede fabric seemed worn on the front of both boots. I decided to return them and keep looking.

Too small. I wear a 8.5 and this was tight.

not crazy about the color- has a bit of an orange color to it.
