I really liked these boots. Since I work in a warehouse in Arizona, I thought the "Hot weather" feature would be a "shoe-in" for me ;) I walk 15-20 miles a day on concrete floors and they stayed reasonably comfortable even considering the mileage. The only reason I had to stop wearing them and return them is because my feet and ankles got way to hot, to the point were I had painful heat rash that would last for days. I was really bummed about that. So much for "hot weather". The search continues...

Takes some time to break in, but overall a comfortable boot. This is my second pair of these and would not hesitate to buy a third. They breathe better than the Gore-Tex but my feet still get warm in them.

These shoes are totally wearable and comfortable right out of the box w/the Vibram Sole. I immediately put them on and wore for 8 hrs; feet felt great afterwards! One major problem however, I bought these for the advertised coolness in the extreme heat, and they are far from cool, I've even been able to use them in the Montana cold and my feet still get hot w/thin wool socks:( don't know what's going on here!

This is my second pair of these boots, the first being the Gore-Tex version. These have not held up as well as the first pair. Same work conditions, but started to have issues after a few months, the first pair lasted over two years. The boot it self started separating from the sole. Still wearable but not much life left. I would buy these again but only because of my experience of the first pair. Step your game up Danner!
