I only wear sanuk brand, have about 45 to 50 pairs I bought these in navy to wear to Sea World and they was so comfy that I came home and ordered the black I have very flat feet and wide usually wear sanuks in size 8 (39) After reading all the reviews U could find I ordered a 7 which was a perfect fit They sort of remind me of house slippers with straps I don't care if they look sort of like house slippers as long as my feet and legs don't hurt from walking in them Now if Sanuk could only make them in a olive green I would be so happy (I know they have these in the HEATHER BURNT OLIVE But I want plain olive green same material as the navy, black and red Also wish they had just a little more padding as walking on cement for about 10 miles would be so much better with thicker softer sole I still love them and will get olive if it comes available

The description made it seem like the entire shoe featured fabric that would stretch, but only the sling did. The main part of the shoe is canvas, with no elastic. I bought it for my mother who has large bunions and hammer toes and it worked out less than purchasing any other Sanuk with some kind of elastic built into the toebox. That said, for any other normal feet, it's pretty true to size. The sole cushioning is pretty comfy, but I wonder how durable it will be.

The back of the shoe stretches out so bad the strap won't stay on. But they can still be worn. They are super cute and comfy.

I love the way these look and the concept. The problem with them, for me anyway, is that they provide no stability. The strap in the back needs to provide a firmer support for the heel and ankle. On me they just flopped around on my foot and made me feel like I had swim fins on. I wish they had worked as they are very cool shoes.

I really do love this shoe. It is so incredibly comfortable and such a great summer shoe, very breathable. I was a little surprised at how thin the material was covering the foot, but this ended up being a great thing because I normally wear socks with my Sanuk shoes, and obviously I can't with these because of the open heel. So the thinner, more breathable fabric is perfect. And when I say thinner, I don't get the feeling at all that they won't last just as long as my other Sanuk shoes. It feels like a sturdy, good quality fabric. The ONLY problem I have is that the strap on the back slides down while walking. I have about 10 pairs of Sanuk shoes (surfers, slings, and lace-ups) and they are all size 7, with the exception of my Vee K Shawn pair, which are 7.5. So I ordered this in my typical size 7 and they just seem too lose on the back, although the rest of the shoe feels great. I'm hesitant to exchange for the size 6, because I'm worried the length of the sole will be too short, and I don't want my heel hanging over/toes smashed up at the top. I think if they were offered in half sizes they would be perfect, although I'm just one person with one opinion. I would normally never give a 3 star rating for a Sanuk shoe, and although this is only one problem, it is pretty annoying to have to continually pull my shoe up while I'm walking. So just something to think about. I may order a second pair in a size 6, so that I can compare. If I do, I will write another review with my findings!

I love Sanuk shoes and this is the first shoe that I was very disappointed with.... Very uncomfortable, thin material with absolutely NO stability. Difficult to keep on .... Love the style just hoping that Sanuk can figure this one out to be more comfortable.....

I wanted to love these so much! I love my yoga sandals and I thought these were so cute and comfy. I ordered two pairs that were both too small after reading other reviews that said to size down. I returned them and ordered the next size up and they were somehow too big and too small at the same time?? I tried the original, the suede and the wool and none of them fit right or looked good. I hate the fact that you can see the outline of your foot through them. Like I could see all of my toes through the fabric. They were cute until I put them on and they were comfy but they failed somewhere along the line. I'm really bummed because I really really wanted to love them (obviously if I bought three different pairs!). I feel like they just need some kind of redesign where the fabric attaches to the sole or something. So dissappointing

Runs large, no grip or support with the back ankle strap and the material over the foot is so thin, you can see an "imprint " of your fit - not flattering at all

The shoes look good in the pictures and are the same in real life but since the fabric that covers the toes is stretchy, it outlines where your toes are if that makes sense. I ended up exchanging for a different shoe because of this reason, I also would suggest ordering a half size down of your normal size if you do buy these.
