Over all love the boots! Not as much as my 15 year old pair that they are replacing but still amazing boots. I ordered my normal 7.5 size, they are a bit too big but kept them anyway. With think socks they work fine.

These boots are cute and comfortable, and the footbed has a nice, springy feel for a boot, which makes them comfortable for walking. The boots look great even after multiple uses. I really like the feel of riding in these boots because they provide a bit of grip for my calves. I have bought these in wide calf and regular size. With a 15 inch calf, I feel like I am right in between the two sizes. Regular is a bit tight and wide is a bit loose. The one problem I have experienced with the boot is that the ankle/heel area bent down in the first pair and hurt my ankle. I'm hoping a boot tree will prevent it from happening with my new pair.

These were bought as a gift.. needed a new pair as my others are now 7 years old.. wanted same brand and thought these might be a good upgrade.. they are comfortable and good quality. The only thing i would say is when you put them
On first, there is a join in fabric near the ankle that needs your heal to adjust to each time otherwise good. Looks lovely on.

I love my boots! I usually wear size 9, and ordered size 9...perfect fit! The only thing i don't like is the area around the heel on the inside of the boot. It is very stiff, and rubs. It also pulls down my socks from the back and they scrunch down under my heel. Hopefully they will soften up after a couple more times wearing them. But, I love them!

Bought this boot after trying on a stand at HOYs, didn't originally like as the colour put me off but so much nicer and darker in the flesh! Fit really well, I have really small ankles so instead of a 5 got a 4.5 so the ankles don't bag

These are the most gorgeous boots but I've had to return them as they're just to big for me! I'm quite petite (5ft 1") they felt heavy on and whilst they were ok on the flat they poked into the back of my knee walking up/downstairs.
I loved the style but have returned and purchased the Wythburn boots instead, they fit perfectly and I'm keeping them!

I bought these last year (2019 Spring) After much deliberation. I needed a boot for teaching long Saturdays and through the week, that was also durable enough for barn work, all weather chores, etc. I got my regular Ariat size 8 1/2 (I am a size 9 in everything except Ariat ... I size 1/2 size down ). Broke in nice. Put my Ariat Cobalt insoles in and west these A LOT. I have a long leg though, so they don't go up super high on my calf, but it is ok. And yes I would recommend them.

I love these boots, fit is right on. Nice details. Unfortunately, the only negative is the color is much darker than the photo. The photo appears almost camel/light brown. In reality, they are closer in color to the pics people are posting.

These boots have been so comfortable, however I've had them for less than a year and I've already worn through the lining in multiple places and the leather has begun to split despite regular conditioning. Disappointed given the price.

Nice boots. Could not get my high arch into them. I guess I need zipper boots.

I love these boots. The fit is excellent, and they are beautiful and comfortable. At this price, I anticipated they would last for years. Unfortunately, at just over a year old, every time I walk through the pasture my feet are sopping wet. And really, that started months ago.
While I would recommend this boot, don't plan on wearing it often if you want it to last.

This is the second pair I have had now and I love the boots, I walk our dogs every day in them, they offer such great support but after a year both pairs have leaked and I get home with soggy socks, the first pair I decided it must just be because they were a couple of years old so had a second pair and admittedly for the first few months they are fine but after this they leak, I'm only walking through grassy fields nothing heavy duty. I'm disappointed as I love the boot style and comfort so much, know the guarantee is only for 12 months so I assume after this they won't be waterproof..shame as quite expensive for just 12 months. I still wear them just not on wet days! Any advice appreciated as would love another pair of similar style that are actually waterproof for more than 12 months.

I purchased a pair of these boots less than 12 months ago and one of the boots is beginning to leak where the rubber sole joins the leather part of the boot - my boots are worn most days to walk dogs nothing extreme - shame as nice looking boots

I have ariats all my life and don't want other brands. But these boots the langdale is disappointing the 37 was to big so I bought the 36,5 I wear them like 8 times and got blisters everywhere every time they hurt and are very narrow at the toes. The looking are great also the leather but the fitting is not like al my other ariats.
I can not walk on the boots so I have to sell them again and they were a present from my parents, very sad.

Unfortunately the fact that this boot was a 'pull-on' was not for me. The foot was too cramped and it was built solidly too high to the ankle bone, making it very uncomfortable. I'm sure if you have a narrow foot and a higher ankle bone it would be fine. Nicely made, good fabric, looks great, just didn't fit!

I love the look of my boots. But they are rubbing badly behind my ankles. I'm going to see if I can break them in by wearing them for 10 minute walks daily.

I'm loyal to Ariat for my day to days boots. I have t worm another brand for as long as I can remember. These boots are the usual quality and comfort BUT the Java boots are not the colour advertised. They're pretty much the same colour as the waxed chocolate the only difference being the leather parts are matte not shiny like the chocolate ones are. So if you're expecting the orange tan colour in the adverts you're going to be disappointed. I'm not sure how Ariat got this so wrong. Anyway the boots still look good and I'm sure will still let me an age.

I am a big Ariat fan and only ever buy Telluride shirt boots. Ordered these lovely Lansdale but foot is far too narrow. What a shame that there are no width options. Very disappointed to have to return them

Incredibly disappointed with these boots. The new "Dryshield" which seems to have replaced Goretex is an over glorified neoprene liner. I absolutely do NOT want neoprene in my boots (if I did, I'd buy the much cheaper neoprene and rubber boots). The interior lining is a rougher mesh instead of the smooth satin-like lining from the boots these were supposed to replace. These also fit so strangely in the foot - the toe is on the narrower side while the heel is HUGE causing my foot to lift and rub with each step. As I said, majorly disappointing.

First off, I absolutely love the fit/feel of these boots. The option for a fuller calf is what sold me. I got them and they were comfy right out of the box, so no break in time was needed. However, they are absolutely not waterproof. My job requires me to stand in creek beds at certain times, and the second time in they leaked and my feet were completely drenched. I was so disappointed, because I do love these boots. Sadly I am returning them.

The boots are warm and comfortable, but they are not suitable for riding beyond a simple walk on a calm horse. They are bulky and do not provide a secure fit. While they are adequate for walking around the barn and performing chores, I would not recommend them for riding.

I absolutely loved everything about these boots, the fit, the style, the comfort and the performance. But I'm extremely disappointed that after just 2.5 years the upper has started to come away from the sole and they now let water in. This actually started to happen at the start of their second winter and required a trip to the cobblers in an attempt to repair. But the split has now come back again. I've looked after them and they've not been abused - just used for dog walking. This is not acceptable given their price - I thought I was buying quality that would last at least 4 or 5 years!

I've loved these boots for a year since buying them, but the leather upper is coming away from the sole and they aren't waterproof any more! I don't wear them that often, maybe once or twice a week for a few hours, and for any long days out I wear my other boots so expected more from these for this price.

I bought my boots about 18 months ago they were stylish and comfortable I've worn them a reasonable amount mostly at the weekends but probably for an hour a day on average the shoe is now coming away from the soul they are not waterproof and they need replacing. Poor quality boots for the amount paid.
