I ordered a size larger than I normally take in a Birkenstock sandal or clog and the Stalon chelsea boot fits perfectly. I'd expected the graphite color to be a slightly darker gray, but it's something I can live with. I've been wearing them every day since they came and am very happy with my purchase.

This is a beautiful boot that could be worn with almost anything! Very comfortable and stylish - as expected for Birkenstock :) i wanted to have a second pair of black ones so that one could be saved for good and the other for everyday use. Returning these in hopes that Black will be back in stock soon!

I have found that my usual size 40 in Birks in general have run large (I am a 8.5-ish) and the 39s fit great although my heel slipped so decided to return...

Great boot; just as I expected. Fit and quality was true to Birkenstock quality. I am however returning them to wait for Black ones to be available.

I love these boots! They were so comfortable right from the start. I wear a 38 in Birkenstock sandals and sneakers, but I went with a 39 in these boots and they fit perfectly.

I had to return these, as they were too big. I wear a 7.5 in boots usually, and I have other Birkenstock boots in size 38 that fit perfectly, so I ordered these in a 38. The heel is very heavy, so be sure you like clunky. I put on thick socks and the 38 still just felt huge; but I think the 37 would be too tight. I'm going to stick with my other Birkenstock boots. My husband tried the men's style on in 42 however (he's a Euro 42-43), and he LOVES them. So a win for him!

Wanted to love them but not as comfortable as expected. A little shorter than normal 38.

Since these are boots and from previous reviews I sized up from 36 to 37 like I do with shearling clogs but they were a tad too large. I inserted some inserts from running shoes and now fit perfectly. My only complaint is that the top hits the front of my ankle but am hoping the leather will soften after breaking in. Love the style although wish it were 1 inch taller. Was pleasantly surprised that these are water resistant.

I ordered a narrow but they were very wide. I could not wear them even with heavy socks.

Very cute boot, the charcoal color was much nicer than I had imagined it would be. I had wanted the black version, but it was unavailable, I may even like the charcoal better, it's dark enough that it feels like a slightly "softer" version of black. I have been a Birkenstock wearer for 40 years and have always loved the comfort even if they weren't always fashionable. They are 100% my go to brand. Well, they were. I understand Birkenstock was sold to a conglomerate in 2021, possibly a contributor to my disappointment in Birkenstocks recently. Due to chronic, low grade joint pain in my feet, I've been updating my footwear to include more winter wear, most of my currently owned Birkenstocks are more suitable to mild weather. In the past 3 weeks, I've ordered 6 different pairs of Birkenstocks in a variety of styles, most from the Birkenstock website directly. I'm returning all six either for quality of workmanship issues or for comfort issues. They have always been worth the price tag in the past, but I'm feeling skeptical now. Back to the Salon boot. PROS: The sizing felt true to size for me, I've always been a size 40 and these fit well, I have slim feet but regular width, these felt comfortable for the narrow width. The leather was nice, a bit scuffed up, but Nubuck trends that way. The shoe was light, which I like, compared to other brands in this style, Birkenstock nailed the weight. CONS: The footbed is the singular reason I have been such a loyal Birkenstock fan, these boots are not the original footbed. The arch support is not as distinct, the toe support is non existent. These would be great boots for someone who doesn't have foot issues, or who has orthotics they like. For looks alone, I give them high marks, for feeling like the Birkenstocks of yore... two thumbs down.

I ordered this boot size with trepidation because I really wanted the regular width which is wider than the narrow width. However, the regular width is never in stock only the narrow so I finally caved in and ordered the narrow. It is too narrow. It probably is true to size but my foot feels pinched in a narrow, and I never seem to be able to get the regular width. Wish you had more shoes in the wider width.

The only option available was "narrow," so I ordered a half size up and they fit perfectly. It's a great shoe.

Diehard Birkenstock fan! Boots were as I expected. Returning them and will wait for Black ones to restock because that is what I really wanted.

In love with these boot! I wear a 7.5 - 8 I usually size up for boots and got the 8-8.5 size and they feel great! I tried the blundstone boots first and hated them could barely get them on my feet so uncomfortable. These were perfect the second I put them on! So so cute too! Highly recommend

Love these! Super cool style with Birkenstock comfort. My usual size 40 fits fine. I have another pair of Birkenstock booties as well, I love that I can still have the comfort and support with a fully enclosed shoe that is stylish as well.

I like the style & color of the boot. The fit was a larger than the 41 Birkenstock sandal even with a thick sock so I returned them.

Beautiful boots! They look so cool and yet they have the Birkenstock comfort and support. Ordered my usual Birkenstock size and that was perfect. These are great as the weather is getting too cool for sandals and few shoes besides Birkenstock feel comfortable for me. So glad I found these!

fantassstic - my 2nd pair

I had a feeling that the “narrow” would be too narrow for me. I usually take a medium width and was hopeful that the narrow/regular would fit. My foot felt pinched. I wish the wider shoe had been available.

I’m mixed on this shoe because it looks like what I wanted but generally these are below expectations for Birkenstock. I had to size up from my normal Birkenstock so my toes wouldn’t rub on the end. I got “narrow”, but they fit like regular width (which is good for me). Most important to me is the arch support which feel noticeably less supportive than my other Birkenstock sandals or shoes.

Love these boots. Super cute and comfortable. I normally wear a 43 in Birkenstock sandals but ordered 44 in the boots. I could probably a 45 as my big tow rubs just a bit. Not enough to slow me down though. I have worn these for walks with my dog and on job sites walk miles fresh out of the box. They are that comfortable and light weight. I highly recommend them and may very well order another color.
