These boots are the best thing for people with foot problems. I have heel pain and metatarsal pain and most shoes are not comfortable without my invasive orthotics. These felt so good right out of the box. There are cuter booties out there, but these are pretty cute too, and comfort trumps all cuteness for me any more. I didn't want to like these shoes because they were the most expensive ones I ordered. But they really are awesome. I'm a 40 something mom and my 20 year old daughter liked them a lot too.

I have worn Birkenstock since my 30's . After my daughter was worn I had to grow up! Now, in my 70' so happy to see the slip on bootie with the closed heel. Had to have them. No need to break in-wore them right out of the box. Happy that Zappos allows me such rage of styles. Perfect customer service.

Perfect fit and after wearing them 12 hours the first day I feel my plantar fasciitis fading away.

Birkenstock is my shoe brand. Never disappointed. I’m 39 in sandals and same for this bootie. True to size, very comfortable with or without socks. I tried dansko and Finn comfort first but finally purchased Birk. Needless to mention the great customer service provided by Zappos during exchange/return process.

I just wore these today and they are amazing. Very comfortable, and my feet are very happy. Not to mention how great they look with skinny jeans

Just about perfect! I have a wide ball and narrow heel and wear built up orthotics. I can't tell you how rare it is for me to find a shoe that is cute, fashionable, and fits, let alone fits perfectly. These don't slip on my heels even with orthotics. They will need breaking in a bit, but they're mostly comfortable right out of the box. I'm happy. Thanks Zappos for carrying these shoes and for your terrific customer support!

I've worn these non-stop since I got them. So comfortable, so good looking. I get compliments on them. Highly recommended. They are my go-to casual shoes from Fall through Spring. I'm going to get me another pair. Excellent.

Now of corse it’s not like the Sandal or clog. You’ll have to break it in a little. It’s a boot. Light weight like a tennis shoe. Fashionable and cute. I am a barber and stand long hours, but actually worked 4 days straight in this pair???? will order another color.

These are my winter go-to shoes. There is nothing out there that I've found quite like them. They aren't good in very cold or very hot weather but the rest of the year --- perfection. And they look good.

I purchased this bootie about 3 months ago for my trip to Spain. THE BEST! I wore it for 3 consecutive weeks, almost every day. I walked an average of 8 miles/day with this bootie and for the first time in many years, I did not feel any pain/discomfort at the end of the day. I strongly recommend this shoe for those who suffer from plantar fasciitis or metatarsalgia. True to size and very comfortable. Planning to purchase the taupe suede color very soon!

I haven't decided if I'm keeping these yet, but I wanted to chime in on sizing. These in 40 fit true to my size 9 street shoe size! Because I wear a 38 in the leather/cork sandals, I figured the 39 would be good, but it was really too short. The 40 is perfect for me. Now I just need to decide if I adore them enough to keep them. (They look a little clumpy on me). Recent foot pain has had me wearing squishy shoes lately, so I have forgotten what actual support feels like. The footbed here is not at all squishy, but of course it is very well shaped.

I'm a true size 9 and a 40 in the narrow women't Birks sandals. These are the right length and comfortable but do run wide. I liked them so much that decided to keep them and just wear with thick socks. I also ordered one size smaller to see if would fit better but the length was too short although fit better in width. Great neutral color and look stylish.

I LOVE BIRKENSTOCKS. I love their clogs and sandals. These boots are comfortable, but being that they are sneakers, the insole is definitely different. Plus, it seems like they haven't quite perfected the boot height yet. I tried a pair of boots last year that were comfortable, but the shaft hit at a weird spot. I feel the same about these. I wish they were more of an ankle height. I would definitely have to wear high socks with them to keep them from rubbing my skin. I also found that in these I would need to go up a size for them to be the right width.

These are not sized the same way as the Birkenstock sandals, and are about a half inch narrower than the sandals. Also there's not much room in the top of the shoe if you have a high instep. Unwearable as is, and I'm sad they are not sized as marked.

I wear Birkenstock sandals all summer long, but this was my first experience with their other styles. I ordered my regular sandal size, a 40 regular, which is slightly wide and I wear the straps on the middle buckle. These were so tight I couldn't completely fit my foot in. After having them on about 20 seconds my foot started to tingle from the circulation being restricted. Definitely sending them back. They are really cute, though!
