Was so excited to receive these cool clogs from Birkenstock. They are huge. Way to big and going back to Zappos for a smaller size. Hopefully the next size smaller will be the perfect fit.

The shoes are good, although they have a slit on the inside of each shoe where the felt comes together. I didn't see that in any of the descriptions or pictures. I will say that the service I received from Zappos was horrible. I'm used to receiving excellent service and especially from a merchant with this kind of price point. When I called initially about the slit it was a difficult conversation and she couldn't answer if this was a flaw or intended. When I received my replacement pair the box was torn to shreds. I emailed pictures to Customer Service to make them aware and the response I received was... "I've noted your account". I'll be searching other shoe locations in the future prior to purchasing from Zappos again. The second pair I received had the same slit. I'm not going to bother dealing with Customer service again, I'll simply keep them.

The wool is soft but only lines the bottom. The top of the shoe is quite hard, so would need to wear thick socks. Thus you should order a full size up.

These didn’t fit right. The outside of my back heel felt higher and the inside of the shoes rubbed against the top of my arch area on both feet. I think the lining makes the shoe feel a bit smaller as well.

This shoe doesn't have the Birkenstock comfort. It feels hard. the shoe runs short and the width wide.

Update to an earlier review...they had to go back. i wore these as slippers and initially loved them. they are adorable, but once the shearling lost its "fluff" they became difficult to walk in. my feet kept sliding forward and my toes were getting crushed.

Tried size 43 and way to big. Then ordered 42 and found that the inside was already separated from the cork sole. In addition the footing mode was so narrow that the sides of my feet were scrunched the sides of the clogs. I’m a loyal fan of Birkenstock’s and this pair of clogs was a total disappointment. Could be that the clogs were made in Italy instead of Germany. Thought the style of the wool clog would be cool to try. Oh, well not in my future and had to return to ZAPPOS.

Really big and floppy, despite ordering the narrow width as suggested — a lot of “play” when I walk around, and my foot slides forward, bumping my toes against the hard plastic toe reinforcement. Just not comfy. Footbed is coz yet oddly hard (and I am accustomed to Birkenstocks). Felt upper is thin and cheap feeling, not warm. I really wish these fit better because I really like the look, and the blue color is super cute. But they’re just a big miss for me. I usually love Birkenstocks, but these just aren’t typical fit or quality.

I didn't love these like I thought I would. They felt too stiff in the upper wool material. Also they felt too slippery inside, like my foot slid in and out too easily. So I returned them.

Does not enough art support for me… Not nearly as much as my “normal“ Birkenstocks...Had to return them

Wow, these things were huge! I've had Birks before, and I even checked my foot on the sizing chart on the box they came in. Maybe would fit a man's foot better. My toes were not comfortable in the toe box. Also the top material felt cheap. Not at all what I was hoping for.

I was not very happy with these. I have numerous pairs of soft-bed Birks and LOVE them! I ordered the narrow width in a 39 women's which is what I wear in the sandal. These were still too wide for my slightly wide foot, even with socks. The shearling interior was nice, but I prefer the soft footbed and these were definitely not that. My foot just kind of sloshed around inside when I walked, so I had to move my foot forward to keep them on and my toes would hit the front, which hurt because it's hard. I really wanted them too work, as I wear the sandal in the winter with socks ( in my house).

I have worn Birkenstocks forever - thought it would be fun to try these. They have been awful! They are way too big - I have always fit in a 10, but these feel gigantic. They don't have a buckle, so you can't adjust the fit. They actually hurt my feet. I would not recommend getting these shoes!

Not as soft as the picture would indicate, very hard shoe, the fluffy lining does nothing to add to softness, in fact my foot slid around in the shoe. cute shoe, but must return.

Very sorry to say, but these(even though I ordered a a narrow) were way too wide. I was so disappointed because I had the same problem with haflinger slipper/shoes I ordered and was hoping these would work for me. Not sure if these are unisex but if you are a woman, do not order unisex!

The upper material is hard and sharp on the edge. Cuts into top of foot.

I love the look of these, I love the idea of wool and happy lamb, and I've been wearing the brand for years. When I opened the box, I thrilled at the wonderful color and fluffy footbed. When I slipped them on my feet -- whole 'nother story. How Birkenstock managed to make a shoe THIS uncomfortable, I don't know. The happy lamb actually made the footbed feel uncomfortable. First, the Q&A about these being cushioned for comfort? Not in my opinion. Like putting your sleeping bag on cement. Second, stability or lack thereof...my foot slid around and wouldn't settle in the proper place so I ended up with shoe supports pushing into the wrong parts of my foot. My feet also slid way forward in these thus smashing my toes... And third, to make matters worse, when my my foot flexed, the tops of my toes scraped against the wool upper (not fluffy). I've had two other Birkenstock clogs and have never felt anything this miserable. For reference, my feet are: 50 years old, somewhat sensitive, have high arches, need met support, suffering a little arthritis and sometimes get a bout of plantar fac.

These are very oddly put together. Surprisingly uncomfortable. I have been trying to find a wool lined, open heeled clog to use as a house slipper. I currently own two pairs of birkies. I tried my current size (44), which was about a half inch too long at the heel. So, it did not feel like the same size as what I already have. I tried a 43 next. These were okay for length. The problem with the style is that it is very hard at the toe. So, the tips of my toes actually pressed into the front inside of the shoe hard enough that it was very uncomfortable. I did not feel that they would soften up or break in well. So, I returned them. My search for the perfect house slipper / clog continues!

Got these for my husband and he said they were hard and uncomfortable. Didn't feel like Birkenstocks at all, and were very long but very narrow. Just a weird shoe.
