Very expensive, totally worth it. We only buy stride rite because of the comfort and the sole flexibility/foot movement. But within the brand, I've found big variations in quality/construction of each shoe. We find the all-cloth shoes get beaten up very rapidly and may need to be replaced before the child has sized up. We never have that issue with the all-leather stride rites, like this Wes. This shoe is also very easy to open up and get on/off. My three year old can do it all himself.

Great shoe! I love that they are casual and comfy enough for play time yet still dressy enough to wear with khaki pants and a button down shirt for church. Gotta love Stride Rite quality shoes! You pay a little more but get a whole LOT more in quality... well worth every penny!

The fit is perfect. When my grandson is wearing these he hops, jumps, kicks, and runs! They must feel good and cushiony! They are cute, easy on and off. Couldn’t ask for better. I like to buy shoes that fit. I don’t buy 2 sizes too big. Kids fall when their shoes don’t fit. They also bend weird when they’re too big and they also look funny. I realize he won’t wear them for long, but I don’t care about that. My money’s worth is a shoe that fits and is comfortable right now.

My two year old does really well in these shoes--they have great flex--natural movement, grippy bottoms (for climbing up slides), and a rounded toe to prevent tripping when running. I gave 4 stars comfort only out of speculation because I think he can feel the grippy soles through the bottom--although he doesn't complain. I feel like these are good for his foot growth.

Very cute and well made shoes. It took a few tries to get the right size as they seem to run narrow. Ended up with a 2W when my little guy usually gets regular wide.

Fits well and seems comfy, my son is non verbal but he frequently picks these put over his over 2 pairs. Has held up well for the past few months, will be donating them and getting bigger size since his feet grew.

OMG!! These are so tiny & cute!! The materials are a mix of leather, suede, and a sturdy rubber sole. Perfect inner support with a cushiony sole for beginner walkers. Easy velcro strap. Love the color!! Perfect fall shoe that can be dressed up or down. Super happy with this purchase, highly recommend!

These are adorable and fit my 2 year old son well. Will be perfect for church days and casual days. They are more expensive than what I would like to spend, especially with how quickly my son's feet are growing...but worth it for the quality!

Takes a bit of finesse to wiggle them over the heel but my son loves them and walks/runs easily in them.

These shoes are fantastic quality and they look and feel super durable. Unfortunately, my son was overly aware of the treads on the bottom on the soles and could not get past that. I think it might feel similar to wearing cleats maybe. Otherwise, if your child is not as sensory specific as mine, I would highly recommend these for their durable and classic appearance.

These shoes are great for my 2 1/2 year old son who has wide feet. They are comfy, easy to put on and my son loves them. I would recommend these for moms and dads.

My grandson has a high instep. Therefore many toddler shoes do not fit him. We were very pleased to find this Stride Rite shoe that does accomodate his high instep. And, the shoes are very comfortable and stylish. He likes them.
