I loved them for first two months, my plantar fasciitis healed and I could not be happier. Two days ago at the end of the day I felt terrible pain in my feet, it felt like every single bone was inflamed. What happened is that that white furry lining became absolutely flat, you cannot even recognize it, but apparently it was providing some softness and now inner soles became very hard, literally like a hard stone. I tried to wear them next day several times, but pain would increase immediately. I am very disappointed. Looking for new shoes, arrrg.

I have had 2 pair of these wool Birki's now. The first pair I ordered from Germany this time last year and just got a new pair recently. I will start by saying that they are remarkably comfortable, great looking and great for house slippers, but they do not hold up well. In fact, after the first pair only holding up for about 1 year (of daily wear) I vowed I would not buy another pair of the wool...until I saw the new pink ones. The shearling will wear down quickly, and even more quickly (single weeks or months, depending how much you wear them) if you go barefoot in them. The sizing is the same for the shearling insole. The wool straps and the buckle eyeholes will stretch out. I would recommend gluing moleskin (the tacky back isn't enough to hold it on, you'll have to glue it with heavy duty glue) to the backside of the straps to keep them from stretching so dramatically. I didn't do this immediately and the straps stretched enough that I had to punch additional eyeholes. By the end of the first year with them, I also took them to my sewing machine and put a reinforcing stitch around the edges of the straps. I wish I would have done this much earlier and I think they would have held up better. I want to give them a 2-star for quality and durability, compared to Birkenstock's other products, but I have to give them a 4-star because I obviously enjoy them enough to buy a 2nd pair, despite all of the downsides!

I always wear a 35 in Birks, but the smallest they had in this style was a 36. Since I loved the look of them, I took a chance and hoped that the shearling-lined footbed would help them feel a little smaller...and it worked out great! I don't even notice the extra size. Finally, a sandal that is warm enough to wear in the winter and I absolutely love the fun color. I've noticed that the fur footbed does tend to pick up some leaf debris, and I'm also not sure yet how well it will stand up to daily wear and tear compared to regular Birks...but it's all worth it!

What I like about Birkis is the consistency of their sizing -- no worries buying online. I just loved the colors and had to have this. It's my first wool uppers pair, and I find them very comfortable. Have only had for 2 weeks, so I can't comment on how they will last, or the shearling footbed, but they are so cute -- make me feel like Spring is here.

I thought these shoes were much more comfortable after about a week of wear once they were broken in a bit, the soles under the fur are not soft but the fur makes up for it, they’re warm and comfy. Fit true to size. The felt is a nice touch! They’re comfy with and without socks. I don’t know how long they will hold up compared to regular Birkenstock’s but I’m happy with them as an indoor shoe/slipper, comfy and good support.

these are my go-to house slippers now. I’m not sure why the only size option for width is narrow but my feet are normal in width and they felt perfect.

They’re adorable! I went a size up from my typical Birkenstock size because of the furry lining and I’m glad I did.

I’m a true 7 1/2 and in Birkenstock a 38. Since these are narrow both the 38 and 39 fit but since I’m using them as slippers I went with the 39 so I can wear with socks too. A cute look and comfy and I feel I can wear in the summer or winter.

I love the look and feel of these sandals. They didn't come in my regular size which is the smallest, so I went with the 5-5.5 and because of the fur lining which makes them more snug, they fit just fine. The color is so lively for late spring/early summer though I would wear these year around.

I love these shoes!! Not only are they bright and sunny, but they are so soft and fit right straight from the box. I sometimes have an adjustment period with new Birks, but not these. I basically haven't worn anything else since I got them a week ago. I can't love them enough.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Finally some Birkenstocks in ORANGE! Was hesitant about the fur lining, but works out nicely... not too hot or too cold! Pleasantly surprised by that. The felt is quite a comfortable & I wear these both around the house & out & about!

I wear a lot of Birkenstocks but never the Arizona. I got these to replace Gizeh as my inside-house shoe. (The Gizeh lasted me a good 10 years wearing every day.) I want my feet to breathe after being in work shoes all day, but winter can be cold. This shoe is perfect: allows feet to breathe, but the wool keeps warm. The felt is a bit stiff at first and was cutting into my skin, but only a few wears relaxed them enough to be comfortable. I haven't walked a lot or very fast in these (again, house shoes) so I can't comment on how they'd do on a long walk or with varying weather conditions but for my purposes they're working out great. Also the pink/orange combo is adorable, even for big feet like mine.

Wish they came soft bed.

This is a very cute and cozy shoe if not exactly practical. Perfect for cool fall California. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is that I don’t know how long the shearling will stay white and fluffy, once it starts to get dirty these might not be as cute. If you have narrow feet don’t worry, to me these fit like a normal width Birkenstock.

It's a beautiful sandal but the buckles are stapled on not sewn. I bought it because I have sensitive feet so the staples just wouldn't work for me. The width was perfect and the arch support but the length was definitely not for a 6 1/2 or 7.

Upper part very uncomfortable. Not as described.

These looked great but the shearling made them feel small. If they had this in the medium with I would get them. I can wear their narrow 41 in the Tokyo style but not in this one I guess.

These are the best house shoe/slipper ever! I can't wait to get home each day to put them on.

They were a gift. My daughter in law loved them.

Very happy with these. I think they are really cute and comfy. The look of the wool is very nice and the shearling footbed is not “too much” as I worried it would look silly. They are a little stiff the first few wearing but as all Birkenstock’s go they just get more dreamy with wear.

Love these for wearing inside all winter. Arizona style is not my favorite except for these. Bought both colors.

These are great sandals. I think they are true to size. I generally wear a 37 or 38 and due to another review I ordered the 38. The 37 would have been fine, as they pack out pretty quickly. The orange color is great!

They fit perfectly!

I love these, my feet are close to narrow, regular width with fastened to one before last (inside) is perfect fit.
