I know that these have made a giant comeback and on the subway in the summer (or all the time at yoga), every girl is wearing Birks...but I can't get the right fit or look. I am true size 7 but they give me clown feet, are impossible to size without trying on, and it just gets annoying after awhile. If anything, the true leather ones probably break in better, and the gold color was really nice. But not for me. Plus they remind me of the nuns in grade school in the 70s! I guess if you are older than 30 you might not be able to get past the memories!
