I have had these shoes for four years and 4 months at the time of writing this review. I've had them resoled twice....after wearing them EVERY DAY through wind and mud and rain and to the beach and through forests with the dog. They are crazy comfortable and so well made. The arch support is decent - I'm happy with it. Finally after 4 years the seam is starting to show wear and tear so that it's kind of a dull grey rather than sharp black -- which is nothing a little shoe shine couldn't fix (besides getting the soles repaired I have only ever oiled and shined them...once). So I never ever leave reviews but I actually decided to go through the trouble of resetting my password so that I could come here and rave about these boots. Also I almost never leave reviews. It's hard to find things that are well made and women spend a LOT of time looking and spending money on things they're only half satisfied with that later breakdown. If you like cowboy boots, this is a good buy.

I am a bit of a Western boot fanatic. I tried these because of the price point, but they have delivered in many ways. I have a mortons neuroma and have to have soft footbeds, so I don't consider any boot/shoe that doesn't have some kind of padding. I also use arch support in my shoes. I have a very narrow foot, but buy shoes in medium to accommodate my inserts. These are perfect for all of that because they are pretty loose. They are also very comfortable and easy to wear. I like the way they look and feel, and am wearing them more than some boots that are triple and quadruple the price.

Love love love this cowboy boot. I wear it with jeans and with skirts. You can dress them up or just wear them casual

Fit is comfortable. Have been trying to duplicate these since my last pair in the 80’s. So glad to find Durango at Zappo’s!

Other reviewers said to size up .5 as the boot ran small. Not True! I wear a size 6 and the 6.5 was a good inch too big. Should have ordered my true size. Had to return a really attractive well made boot at a great price. I was bummed to find out my size was no longer available.

Great boot! I have narrow calves and couldn’t find a western boot that would fit.... until now. These are perfect! I’m so glad I found them. My search is finally over! I did order a 1/2 size down from my usual.

Great color. Good fit. I do wish they were a snip toe, but these are close to perfect.

OMG! I love these boots. I put my orthodics in to help with my arch support. There was plenty of room along with socks. If you aren't going to wear thick socks, I'd order a half size smaller. Out of the box the boots were comfortable. I had no trouble pulling the boots on. Wish I had purchased them earlier. I will wear them with jeans and possibly a denim skirt. The red is a nice scarlett. I have never worn Durango boots before. I will buy this brand in the future if I need another pair of boots.

I have always wanted to purchase a pair of cowboy boots, but they were never really my "thing". Every time I saw a pair, I would try them on and convince myself that it just wasn't my style. That all changed after I had a few martinis with some friends. This is always the best way to start an online shopping extravaganza and I ended up buying these beautiful boots in SCARLET RED. I am IN LOVE! Not only are they one of the most comfort pair of boots I have ever, but they are a show stopper. I receive so many compliments when I wear these boots. BIG plus is that they tie in with so many outfits that I already have. Of course, that is not going to stop me from drinking another martini and purchasing specific outfits to show off these amazing boots. If you are in the market or toying with idea of owning cowboy boots, then do yourself a huge favor and buy these boots!

I love them perfect fit n price I got red n white. I like square toe cause I have a wide width n get them in half a size bigger

I ordered a size down from tennis shoe size and they were way to tight in the shoe box area . Nice narrow calf but very uncomfortable square toe . Nice looking boot but had to send back . Would suggest ordering regular shoe size .

The fit was nice and very Comfortable however after wearing around a short distance I noticed the heal/sole of the boot wearing down and coming apart. So unfortunately I had to return them.

I have a 20 year old pair of Durango boots that, in spite of good care, are beginning to show their age. Like these new boots, they're a 7M (I'm generally on the more narrow side of a M) -- but my older boots fit great and with the same sock on my feet while they "swam" around in the new version, so, sadly they're going back. One thing I did like better in this particular style was the slightly lower heel that are still a good height for riding, but for one with a bad back, these would be slightly better for any walking. I was really hoping they'd work and took the chance based on a rather 50/50 "fit large v. fit as expected." But if you don't have a more narrow foot, these just might be the boot for you.

I wasn’t big on the square toe style . It also looked very large on my foot . They are a pretty stylish boot but didn’t seem very durable .

These are true cowboy boots. They are very chunky and almost manly in the way they look. The boot was true to size but uncomfortable to wear. They are nicely made and a good boot if that is what you are looking for. I wanted something more for fashion.
